If you use it often, things will break, especially the diff. The blower is dead reliable, but to be fair, I've had the car since new, and it only has 23k miles.

EDIT: I've said before, I would have left the car NA had I known what greater power causes. I say this because it was a ball to drive with almost 500 wheel and a badass bumpy cam sound. Still would have needed a better clutch, but the diff. might not have ended it's life as twisted scrap.
With any power adders, you will eventually find the weakest link in the chain

I A&A supercharged my C5 Z06 in 2005 or so, no engine mods other than LG Pro longtube headers. 600 rear wheel hp with Mike Morris tune, still driving it at 23 yrs and 56k miles with no issues. Faster and way more fun.

A lot to be said for stopping where you are. It's a sickness, I swear. The defunct magazine Corvette Fever's name is right on. I had my car in the low to mid 12s@114mph, with a tuned, just boltons, totally stock internals LS1. I wish I had stopped there. But I couldn't help myself. OP should definitely strongly consider FI. I've said many times that's what I'd do if I had to start over again. Instead, I've bought 2 different 427s, sunk 30k into them total, and unless I spring for a Quaife diff to run real sticky tires.....Anyway, I'm not complaining. I love my LS7 (except the heads!), but the ROI compared to an A&A just isnt there. Live and learn. A friend has an A&A kit on his '02 Z06. About 2 years ago, he put a very mild cam in it, I wanna say a 220°/228°, on a 118° LSA. He's currently at 635whp, still gets 26mpg freeway, has pretty much stock reliability (he's never had any issues) and can blow me off the road. What's not to like?

My blower cam is 224-232@117.5, and it really works well as far as gas mileage (still aroung 25) and added safety to my stock shortblock. Regardless, I wish I'd kept the Crane 228-232@112 I had. Even more power, and that nice lope. I found I really don't need 700 (est. FW) hp as I have never raced this car. It's also tuned rich which helps peace of mind.

I’ll never race mine either I just want that blower whistle but I still want a lumpy cam good for the blower just think the btr 3 might be too much I think it’s 231-244 on 112 +2.5

whoa - all these years & i ain't never seen Arun post those nowhere.
guessing somebody finally grabbed a dial caliper & protractor.

i've got a BTR PD stage 3 (231/248), and it lopes pretty good for a 120° LSA.

Sounds sweet! Not too lumpy, but sounds healthy.
