I have the ECS kit and I highly recommend it. I have had it on for 6 years and 30,000 miles. The kit comes with everything that you need, including fuel, and will make 500 whp on an otherwise stock set up. I had headers, full exhaust, an MSD Air Force intake manifold, and a LS3 silver blade 90mm throttle body and made 561whp/560wtq. I have a Dewitt's radiator/dual fans on the front end and MCCleod RST clutch on the back end. I added a Texas Speed blower cam and went up to 633whp/597wtq. At this point I started having engine temp issues (I live in Charlotte, so 90+ degree days are common) so I added a Meziere electric water pump and that solved that. The power is extremely controllable, more so than a roots type blower in my opinion, with a significantly lower gas mileage penalty. I haven't broken anything, but I don't do digs at the drag strip. I'm running 325/30/19's on the rear, it's easy to break the tires loose, but it's also easy to get a good launch.

that’s a nice setup you have the only thing I’ll be concerned with is the clutch it’s only has a coupling thousand miles on it but it’s a stock replacement,I’m not going to race mine either and I’m good on tires already I’m running a 355/30/19
+1 for painting the accessory bracket. I've done it on two C5s now and its a small but worthy change.
With the 325s, are those inside stock fenders or under some flares? What is the wheel fitment? I have 305s here and figure that's about the best I could fit inside oem body panels.
Any vids of the car on YouTube? Love to hear it with that combo. What pulley size and boost restriction are you seeing with it currently at that power number?

Thanks!
- Numbers are on standard 3.8" pulley that comes with the kit.
- The accessory bracket is powder coated, thanks for noticing. Did you note that I got rid of the ugly yellow dipstick too? ;-)
- You are correct, 305's are the biggest that will fit under stock fenders without poke. I have 1" flared fenders from Vette Nuts which cover them perfectly. Wheel specs are 19x11 +60, which, with the 305's fit under the fenders.
I haven't gotten to that point yet on mine. I only head to the garage once every other week right now. But I've been contemplating the dipstick and if I can paint it sufficiently. Many aftermarket options are goofy seeming so maybe a proper repaint would help. Not a top priority any time soon here.

When the time comes and just an FYI. I used red caliper paint on my yellow dipstick handle 20 years ago. Looks good and still holding up just fine.
I’ll never race mine either I just want that blower whistle but I still want a lumpy cam good for the blower just think the btr 3 might be too much I think it’s 231-244 on 112 +2.5
I'm not sure about the ECS blower, but I went from a freshly rebuilt V2si that had a loud whistle to a used V3si that is unfortunately dead quiet. I'm not sure if A&A sells the V2 still, but worth talking to them about if you want the sound. Sometimes I wished my V2 was a little quieter, but I was extremely disappointed when I fired up the car after swapping the V3 on and there was NO noise lol.
I used to have a angry bees / spoons in a blender P1Sc. The new car has the V3Ti. Notably quieter by comparison in the two days I had it running.
Observation. I had 10psi on a stock LS1 making 494rw safe tune. No one would run me because the thing sounded like a monster. I also have an S600 with mild tune. Just my (currently broken) daily driver to me. But every Euro and JDM dude would try to line up on it. Dude.... I'm just trying to go home. So that was a bit backwards and frustrating.
Perhaps the less noisy blower will be a good thing. Though it will still have a clearly heard cam. I may add some pipes to my exhaust to muffle the heck out of it and then enjoy some cut outs.

The trick is to highway roll in 6th gear when you see bogeys on the radar. The exhaust note gets pretty quiet cruising in 6th (even catless with LTs & loud exhaust). Just have to stay patient.
This "rope a dope" usually gets the hopes up for many would be assailants. Once they take the bait then you downshift and let the noise out. Their egos already kicked in. Then it's too late for them to tuck tail and back off.
The "rope a dope" is not full proof, but like Sex Panther cologne... 60% of the time... it works every time!
However, if your rumbly bumbly idling at a light...there is no hiding it.

I remember the first time I heard a Procharger in person. A buddy of mine actually won one of those social media car raffles for a clapped out, procharged/cammed G8. It was loud and obnoxious, but I remember thinking that blower sounds shot...lol. Rather than taking it to a tuner right away to make sure it was dialed in, he excitedly ran the **** out of it for about a month until it finally went kaboom lol.

The ECS Novi 1500 is pretty quiet as well. I knew this prior to purchase. Sometimes I like that it's stealthy but it's still my least favorite part of owning one. My exhaust overtakes the sound until the BOV releases. At idle you can hear it whurling when standing in front of the car. But even then it's pretty faint... even with the TrackSpec vents.

I've alI'ys thought sleepers are way better than in your face race car. Thr element of surprise always hurts worse lol.
Sorry I'm a bit late to this conversation. I've had an A&A kit on my car for years, and I LOVE it! You may want to do some supporting mods as well. My car makes 500 RWHP. However, 600 is certain attainable. With that said, it also depends on how you plan to use the car. If it is going to spend significant time driving on the street, the supercharger is definitely the way to go.

I’ve already done a btr stage 3 , ls6 intake and 243’s plus a vararam which won’t matter with supercharging but with those mods I’m hoping to get close
