I hope mine makes close to that are you still running 4.10’s
Not at this time no. I grenaded my 4.10 diff the last day of racing season at Island Dragway right prior to the Novi going on the car. I swapped my 3 rib diff from a Z06 back in with 3.42's and it's still in there now.
I'm chewing on getting back into a 4.10 but not sure if it's the right move with the supercharger. Mixed reviews but I'm leaning toward doing it again..
lol I slept I’m about to go back out there I have two German shepherd’s and they’re needy
Lol! I'm familiar with the drill. Not German Sheppards but three dogs that want to pee as soon as the sun comes up. Here's to continued progress on the install!

The mechanical advantage the pinion gear has on a 4.10 ring gear increases the likelihood of the diff blowing apart when running real sticky tires. Judging from the amount of carnage I've seen on the forums, it seems to work out that way I'm the real world, too. But I still love the 4.10 gears, even though I have 3.42s. 4.10s make a stall converter feel almost stock. Though I've never seen a fuel mileage comparison done, I'd be inclined to say a 4.10 gear would get better mileage AROUND TOWN with a stall converter than the 3.42 would, not that anyone much cares...

Grinder, you're awake? Sleeping late enjoying the FL winters? I was wondering when you'd jump back in.
In total agreement. Do you mean carnage like this? However, some guys with 3.42s have had similar **** shows occurrences. I was on a Nitto NT555 at this time. Not even the DR's. Anxious launch on my part trying to whoop a modded CTSV dowm the 1320 in front of my nephews.
As far as fuel mpg is concerned (which like you, I DGAF) was not that different under normal driving conditions. It's not like the A4's with 2.73's get 10 more MPG than those with 3.15s or 3.42s or M12 trans cars equivelent to 3.90 gearing. So it's neglible when driving "normally".
As you know the 4.10 is an absolute must IMO on an MN6 thats NA. Still not sure if it's the right move for my car FI. Have to chew on it and may pull the trigger after this Summer.

Just been really busy with life, and the Doctors. Wish fixing my own body was as easy as fixing the Vette!! Just got another CT scan. Hoping for the best....

Agreed on na 4.10s and the mn6 gearing. They are a match made in heaven. Double so if your engine has a snappy cam and great rpm. I paired up like that on a 94 ta gt (one year only model pre WS6 release) that made power to 7400 and man was that a hoot to drive! It got better when I went to my first lightweight flywheel against the objection of many at the time.

Agreed! High revving cams not only love the gear...they need it. And similar experience with getting advice against a lightweight FW. I didn't heed their warnings and I ended up LOVING it.
