[Z06] VERY DISSAPPOINTED!

That's gay as hell. Take off the damn mods, break the motor in, re-dyno. If it's making 330's then sell the damn thing.Give the car a chance to be all it can be before you disrespect the best American track car made. Shi't take it to an auto-x or HPDE where you see what the car's made for, 15 rwhp won't mean s'hit out there.
Yes you make me mad :mad

Oh well...still funny.
*This* is exactly why I don't get all jacked up about dyno numbers - there's just too many variables! Heck, you could put on some lighter wheels, turn the drum quicker and have higher numbers, or have a mis-cal'ed dyno, or not have the appropriate correction factor, etc., etc.
You said in a post above (previous page) you had 3 other Z06's? (You said: "This is the fourth Z I have had and do enjoy driving them. I was just expecting more") Did you ever dyno the other Z's?
How about taking it to the track? Check out what the gearing and weight will do in the 1/4 -v- a dyno number.
I mean dyno numbers are fun, and big HP can be fun if it's usable - I had a Supra that would have sucked the headlamps out of your Mustang, but the Z with it's linear power delivery, nice low end TQ, and really amazing track (as in road race) manners is _much_ more fun to drive. I don't get to brag about 700HP dyno numbers, but it's no loss in my book.
Whatever you decide, best of luck!
But, I can't say I get the impression you are a Corvette owner, but just a automotive hobbiest. Nothing wrong with that, but some folks here are passionate about these cars and that is why you are getting a bit more flak then you really deserve.
Have the car rechecked by somebody else, provide us with the facts on the dyno (type, correction factor, air/fuel ratio tuned to) and get back to us. Even if you do end up selling the car maybe we can learn something from this.
Now, I doubt that your Z is being robbed of HP by using octane lower than 92 or 93. However, I waited until I had more than 5k miles on mine before hitting the dyno. Right now, I don't remember exactly why I waited until after the 5k mark. However, I believe I was doing so based on what I read in postings on this forum.
Based on my very limited experience, I suggest you put at least 5k miles on your Z before dyno-tuning to max out your rwhp. The time and effort it takes to do that won't significantly increase the depreciation on your Z. And, it may provide a different result that would have a positive affect on your opinion of the mods you made.

[It's a paint and thinner solvent.]
Mix it 30% Xylene -- 70% 93-octane for 100 octane fuel.

If your car does not knock with 89 octane then it is not going to make more HP with 93 octane. My Z06 will knock at WOT in fourth around the torque peak if I run 89 octane.
