Thats only my cheapo track jack from Harbor Freight. What you can't see is the high quality AC Hydraulics shop jack that I use in the garage. The AC was holding the car up for those pictures.

CONGRATS!!!!!

I've been following this post and wishing you luck. What I didn't want to add was that it took another forum member and I about 10 hours to get my headers on. But, it was well worth it.

Yeah baby, let the good times roll. I knew you had it in you.

But now here is what I want you to do if you have not done it already.

Go and put your starter back in now.
Otherwise you won't get that sucker in once that header is in the way.

You only need take two, well maybe 4 of the passenger side header bolts to loosly keep the header in place while you bolt up the starter.

You may as well torque the starter all the way up because you won't be able to get a wrench on it later.

Also while you have the hard part out of the way, that X pipe and your cat back can be a pain in the *** too. Especially lining up the tips.

After you get the starter, go ahead and put in all your header bolts but don't torque them all the way down. Then tackle the x pipe again just loosely torquing it to the header collectors. Rotate those clamps so that they will not bottom out if you go over a speed bump.

After the x pipe, the rest is down hill. Go ahead and torque everything down under the hood, and start working on getting the pipes and catback tips lined up.

Good luck.

Bicky you been sniffing the exhaust? Told you that it would be great. It's worth the hard work, to have the result you obviously got. Now get your nose away from the exhaust, and go drive it like you stole it.

Kooks headers are a pain in the A$$ to install on the passenger side. You need to:
Remove the Valve cover
Remove Starter
jack up engine using passenger side wing to angle it as much as possible, Jack the motor up until you see the intake manifold touching the cowl. The header will slide in with a little help. I've done 3 sets of these things and hate them.

Man I sure hope that all the hassle is worth big #'s on the dyno/track. Supposedly the LG's require no modifying to install. I'm glad that I had the kooks professionally installed.
