just trying to figure out what wires i need to tie away from the headers...any tips on which ones...i dont want to miss and have my wires melt
All the wires from the O2 sensors and possibly the wires right near the starter. They are all very close to the headers and will burn. Ask me how I know this.
car sounds amazing...but a little bit of a problem...it turns off.... when i rev it pretty high...once it comes back down it goes really low and if you don't give it some gas it turns off and on top of that the coolant temp gauge...went all the way to 140 degrees celsius and then back to 90 and then back to 140 it keeps going crazzy i don't know whats going on...could there be something i forgot to plug in or anything??? and another thing is when i reved it almost to red...before it turned off...the rpms were going up and down by themselves....any help will be appreciated

coolant temp sensor is on the front of bank 1's cylinder head[left].see if the wiring is melted on the header, see if it's plugged all the way in or if you broke it putting in the headers.check the air filter/maf/bridge/throttle housing connections [your looking for air leaks/loose connections, etc]and check for faults.

with all of the above.
That sensor is very easy to break if you don't remove it for the install. Of course the problem with removing it is that aitifreeze goes all over the place if you don't slap a piece of duct tape over it immediately.
It is located on the driver's side cylinder head near the front of it.

The sensor described above is more than likely that problem. As for the idle issue, you disconnected the battery right? It might be hunting idle because the computer is now re-learning.
dude, witout a coolant temp signal, the pcm will not switch over to closed loop[i.e.=rich].did you check for faults?did you check for air leaks? but yes,you could stall without the proper coolant temp signal.
Are you getting any codes on the DIC? If you are, write them down and then post them here or in a new thread. Once we have that info long distance diagnosis should be a bit easier.

it said nothing on the DIC but we used a scan tool from work (dealership) and the only faults coming up were COOLANT TEMP and something about the oil cant remember now :o those problems i can clear up...now the car doesn't stall i left it running for a while but ill go for another drive and report back to you guys

Computer is re-learning. Something else to check is the air bridge From jacking the motor you may have popped a corner off and it's getting air in there. Did you tie all the wires well away from the headers?
Dude your killing me OK it's attached to your airfilter on one end and on the other it's attached to the throttle body. It sits on top of the radiator shroud. Your not going to make me get the camera are you?

I've been off for the last few days so I've had to catch up on your progress. Glad to see you got those puppies in!
What's the update on the coolant (ECT) sensor? Was it broken? If so, did you replace it yet? EB20003 is right, the PCM needs engine coolant temperature info so it can regulate all the things it has to do.
