i AM GETTING SICK OF THE GORILLA TACTICS JUNIOR YOU DONT OWN A C-6 THOSE CARS IN THE PICS ARE YOUR PARENTS CARS AND THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE HEADERS. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT. SO WHY ARE YOU MISLEADING EVRYONE ABOUT ARH ON THIS FORUM. THESE FORUMS ARE USED FOR PEOPLE TO GET EDUCATED ANSWERS. I THINK ALL THE GORILLA TATICS NEED TO COME TO A END.
I know I'll get all kinds of flack on this. But, if you're on a tight budget and aren't looking for the last bit of power, the infamous ebay headers are the way to go. Sure, they aren't perfect, but you can't beat the price.
Having dealt with two sets of these and installing one set...

If you are on a tight budget, then there is no other option than the LG Street Series Headers at $895 from the engine to the cat back complete in 304 stainless steel with removable Off Road Pipes to install cats when you are ready.
BUT.......
If you want the original long Primary header with the first Merge Collector for the Corvette Market then there is no other header necessary for your Corvette than the LG Pro Long Tube headers that set the standard for Horsepower and torque that is never equaled.

ive had flp, lg pro and now ar long tube headers. i liked the clamping system on the flp's, not one leak. the lg i couldnt seal. i always had leaks at the clamps no matter how tight i cranked them on. i just put the ar headers on. the only issue so far is the wiring is very close to the cats
Of all the headers I see listed, have you considered a Tri-Y design? I am running the QTP's, only all stainless Tri-Y design for the C5, which uses Random Tech cats and "X" pipe. They are also easy to install.
I think the advantage with the 3" system is by the time the exhaust is to the mufflers it has cooled considerably and doesn't need the larger diameter.
Actually you are backwards...hotter air travels faster
Lets just say make sure they are all SS construction. I've had the Ceramic coated ones. Got caught in the rain once & they devloped RUST. Not a good sign
