Thanks for the answers. I really do appreciate it. Any mods to the front end suspension to take on this 427 monster? Does all electronics hook up clean? Did you do your own installation?
Thanks again!

The LS7 based 427 weighs about what the stock engine does so there is little if any additional weight. No suspension mods needed and the car sits at the same height.
Some of the sensors are in different locations so you need to buy some extension/conversion harnesses. Katech makes them. Just plug them in and you are done.
I had a local shop do the installation. I am doing my own tuning using EFILive and an Innovate wideband O2.

I'm interested in this, because I'm looking to build an iron block 427... mind PM'ing me the details so I can better build mine? Cam specs, behavior, mileage and gear ratio, power/dyno specs, etc?
Looks friggin hot man! Does that fuel rail on the L76 intake plug right in to the C5 fuel lines?
Looks very good. Please excuse my ignorance. Is this out of a C6 Z06? Is this a create motor? What horse is it? Where did it come from? Are there more? How much was it? Is it stock? I must of got in on the last of this but I'm very interested in this "UPGRADE".
If your going to put an LS7 into a C5 you need to use the proper reluctor gear so your C5 computer will work
The cam is in my sig. The L76 fuel rail does indeed just plug right into the C5 fuel line.
As for mileage I don't know yet. I only have 45 miles on the new setup right now. If we weren't having a thunderstorm right now I'd be out driving it.
I have not run it on the dyno yet. I want to get a few miles on it first. Drivability is great so far especially considering that I have not done hardly any tuning on it. I have it idling at 950 right now.
