That would stop the gravity bleed and make the job less messy and lower risk getting near the clutch.

C_Williams@RPM,

There is a lingering question that could use an RPM reply on this thread.

TIA,

He is on an Alaskan cruise right now and won't be back until Saturday. He does have a laptop with him so assuming he has internet access he will respond after the shuffle board game.

Thanks, Cajundude.

Not urgent. Just interested in a reply at some point.

Very good approach.

Are you planning to insulate the clutch hydraulic lines as part of the installation?

Very nice product. Looks like I'll be ordering one soon before I install the clutch.

Good speaking with again this morning Charlie. Ed Hutchings is rebuilding my torque tube tomorrow and I almost forgot to get a remote bleeder from you while we have it out.

Thanks for overnighting it to Ed's shop.

Has anyone been able to successfully install this remote bleeder through the inspection plate without removing the drive train?

Although a good design – as witnessed by those that ripped it off and continue to pass it off as something they designed - my C6 bleeder showed me there was room for improvement.

The improved C5 design eliminates the two-piece crush washer/adapter connection between the bleeder line and the slave cylinder, simplifies assembly and gives the customer a price break.

Introductory price – $59.95
I need one, is this price still good?

I would also be very interested in getting this right away if it can be installed without dropping the tube. I am having clutch sticking issues but they only occur in on track conditions after everything heats up really nice. I plan on replacing the stock clutch soon so either way, one of these is going on.

Does anybody have a link to where to buy the koolsleeve stuff to protect the lines?

I have one of your original ones, (not a ripoff!) and I love it. This is a must for anyone who is replacing their clutch.

i would buy one of these in a heart beat if i knew for sure it could be installed without taking anything out of the car. I had a similar setup on my camaro and LOVED IT allowed for bleading to be done in less than a couple min with only 1 person

Has anyone installed one of these with everything still up in the car? In my camaro it seems like it would have been impossible but i have not looked up under my vette at the clutch line. I have access to a lift and a ton of tools i just dont want to have to drop my tunnel. And would love to be able to change my clutch fluid fast with one of these.
