I'm guessing the SSAC are going to go up in price with the new design? I'm having a really hard time finding guys that run the TSP longtubes, and the few I have found say the install was a PITA.

I've installed 3 sets of TSP's w/ their 3" x-pipe and they are great and the install is just as easy as any other headers. J
ust make sure if you have the square shaped connector on your factory O2 that you get the right 24" extensions. The flat connectors that come with the headers don't fit the square shaped O2 harness. The '04 Z06 I just did Friday had the squared shaped O2 connectors. FYI.

hey man i just got threw installing tsp's long tubes on my 2000 z51 m6 as far as the header install the new design is awsome they slipped right in very easilly. if u have a 01 up they do not make an air setup. that being said thats were my install was a pita my headers were wrong from the company that makes them for tsp the air fitting was set up for 2001 up cars so i had to mod my air tube. but the fit and finish is great on the new v2s that just came out and my god do they sound nasty. i just went to a dyno day in georgia the shop is a huge ford place 3 281 ci cars that were drove there made over 1500 hp (wow biggggg twins) my car has only exhaust, and me hand porting tb and maf, my mail order tune was way off but it still put down 340rwhp and 350rwtq there should be atleast another 15 to 20rwhp on the table hope this helps

of those two go with the stainless steel. I have a friend that has the TSP, and it did not take long for rust to start showing between the pipes where the ceramic coating is. And he doest drive in the rain.

That's an excellent point! I wonder what the inside of his pipes look like?

I just got an email from them saying at 45 days out.
I still like the TSP's w/ 3" x-pipe and have had great success with the 3 sets I've installed so far.

I'm very intersted in this debate as well. I recently saw nbssilvy's TSPs and was really impressed with the fit and finish of it all. What I like the most is that it comes with everything to just bolt it up and go. The SSAC seem like you have to spend more time peicing it all together?

I was planning on ordering up the TSPs this week, but I may wait and see how the new SSAC design looks first.

I think I personally am going to go with the TSP setup because I cannot afford to wait another 45 days for the SSAC kits to become availible.

The last I heard they have a prototype made and were waiting on a test install to verify thier jigs.

I'll try and verify the 45 day window, did you get that EMail from sales?

No date but he did say that "45 Days" is thier canned answer and not to go by it... So we're still in the dark!

Hey Guy's

Let me clear a few things up

We did the re-make on the SSAC headers. We sent them the set we modified about 27 days ago. We were told that we should see a finished set back to us to test fit and make sure everything went well with thier new jigs at about the 30 day mark, so i am anticipating seeing the first finished set back in our hands this week.

We will be installing these on a Forum members 00 coupe, with dynos before and after install and tuning to have defenitive comparison data to see what power these things make.

Another bit of good news, while the price will go up a tad, you will now be getting a complete kit from engine to the catback, no more welding up pipes or having to buy clamps and converters. There will be 2 sets avaliable, 1 race off-road set with no emmision's and 1 set that will include high flow cats with AIR system bungs installed.

We are excited to see how they come out, and if all goes well they should be avaliable again very soon

Sounds fantastic, will they still be cheaper than the TSP's? Should they produce 30whp with a tune?

If I drive up there can you install and tune for me? I'll guinea pig if you need.

I have '00 FRC.
