I do care about what they cost, don't put words in my mouth.

Do you honestly think if I didn't care I would be watching these? If I didn't care about cost then I would have already bought a set of something else. And they would be on my car.

I'm not telling people don't buy these, and I'm CERTAINLY not telling people to go spend $1200. I'm telling people to make sure they know their options, educate themselves so they can make their own decision based on what is important to them instead of listening to what everyone is pitching them.

I'm not a "nay-sayer", and if you had read all of my posts you'd know that. I'm still interested in these, I may still wind up buying them for myself, I'm sure as hell not paying $1400+, but when you can get TSP's for almost the exact same price as these OBX, and LG Streets for just a little bit more, those are worth considering IMHO, and I'm also looking at used systems as well. Everyone is acting like these are the first options to come around under $1500 and that is simply NOT TRUE. I'm just trying to help others understand their options and am getting heckled for it?!?

I find it especially ironic this coming form the guy that wasted $200-$300 to return them before you even tried them on the car because you got scared of their horrific return policy & what everyone was saying about them. Looks like if you buy these again you will have spent enough to actually buy the LG's by simply abiding by their return policy... I actually almost bought these off eBay before you even started your post about them, until I read that return policy

Once again, hopefully it will stick this time...
Easy there killer.

Every time I read your posts it sounds like you're knocking them. And yes, I'll admit I screwed up and didn't keep them and try them. So with that said, still looking for headers !

You did good and Charlie is a fantastic tuner and I hope more buy these headers because I was talked into some headers when I wanted some that were less expensive - Now that I look back I wish I would of done the less expensive ones-

Because at some point they all are aout equal

Charlie tuned my Vette and got 639 RWHP and 540 RWTQ

Thanks,Matt

How did you get that deal, because per their return policy listed, you only get a 5 day return policy and the item must be in new, unused, condition (cant test fit) in origional packaging. And that was their normal price till a couple weeks ago, but are you getting them directly or through ebay?

Sorry, just getting tiered of passers by putting an "anti-christ" sticker on my forehead because I mention other options (even if they're only $20-50 more) simply because I like people to know all their options, not just what the buzz stuff is.

And sorry if it sounds like I'm knocking them, but all I'm explaining is basically why I havent bought them yet, and it's largely because there are other options without spending over a grand. If there were not, these would have been at my doorstep already. Since there are other options (and no clear winner) I'm still looking myself. I just dont want to be the guy that gets the bad pair of these and cant return them where I bought them because they're "used" because they ALMOST got on the car for a few hours...

After reviewing this post and with some research on the OBX Exhaust system I think I am now convinced with this product. 30 RWHP and TRQ gains thats awsome. I am gonna have to order this exhaust system for my 03 Z06. Cant wait.

Keep in mind that's with a tune and supporting mods. Don't expect to simply bolt these on and drive off with 30 more HP on a stock car without a good tune. Even with a good tune you might not see as much without the other mods.

This is absolutely not specific to these headers, ALL header systems should be the same story. While their power improvements will vary, all will benifit more from a good tune, and supporting mods.

8x 2 1/4 x3/8 bolts i had , 4 high quality high end exhaust bands i had on hand.I cut and extended my fount o2 so o2 extenders would be nice.once you install both pipes you can mark where you need to adjust the tunnel for the o2 a air hammer does the trick nicely no real issue for most. both headers will go in from the top the drivers side the alt needs to come off and the steering shaft the pass side the ac hose is a PITA but after i looked at it it slid rite in. both coil packs need to come off and take the plugs out must if you dont want to brake one . if some one can help eeplain why i cant up load the picts i will show all them.

these OBX systems DO come with the X-pipe right?? Just haven't heard anything about it. It shows the X-pipe in the picture but it is not written that it comes with it, just talks about the headers...
