I read most of the posts. I'm going to try and stick with as many American made products as I can, even though it's pretty hard. When all manufacturing is gone from the states I think it will be a pretty sad and scary day.

No flames to those who feel it nessasary and can't afford the extra dollars. It's just my preference.

I'm NOT bashing the eBay headers...I just say that for the $$ you can get LG Street Headers for just slightly more...and there are no questions about LG Motorsports commitment to customers, and they are located right outside Dallas, Texas! I value my $$ as much as anyone, I DO understand that the cost of some of these parts is BS, but they charge those prices because many will pay those prices. If I can spend just a little more and keep the $$ in America, but avoid a HUGE amount of headaches and hassles if there is a problem I will do so... However, to each their own, I'm getting the LG's myself..

You that think buying American Made vs. Chinese made makes no difference...it does, it TRULY does! Many products we 'think' are American made are actually not...but KEEPING the dollars you spend here in America as long as possible keeps Americans working....and that job may be YOURS someday, remember that.

you get what you pay for.. go ahead and measure the inner diameter of your exhaust manifolds and the OBX, not much more flow..

Lets us know how he install goes (Pics would be great of install as well) I am looking for a "least expensive" LT Header setup for my 97, so if you have a 97 as your name would imply, I would love to know how everything goes...

Although I believe he's commenting on the smaller then normal primary pipe diameter... sure got good Dyno results though... I'd like to see the graph though.

You could slap those guys upside the head with dyno sheets all day it wouldn't matter. Most of them are just hard headed and want to believe there 1K plus system is WAYYYY superior since they got raped on the price in the first place.

For those up in the air about headers, looks like LG just stepped up to everyone wanting a group buy, sounds like they're going to do the LG Street system for $895 with free shipping for 10 systems, if they get 11 or more they'll give another $100 off your next purchase of $500+. Think I found what I'm going to do

Not bad but still $300(if you call the distributor) shy of the obx system but still a great deal for LG's. That $300 savings could get me a cam or close to one.

Not if 11 people step up, then it will also get you $100 off your next purchase from LG, effectivly making them $795, and dont forget this system actually comes with all the clamps, the 02 extenders, and all the hardware you will have to pay for on the OBX setup (I think the OP said that all cost him about $70). So if you look at it that way, it's only about $130 more. It's all in the eye of the beholder

I bet the boxes dont come all banged up with dents in the headers either (forgot which thread had that pict in it or I'd link it).

I think this is a great deal but I've decided to go with the LG Streets "group buy". I have to agree with a previous poster about money staying in the US. It wasn't too many years ago when I wouldn't have had the resources to make a choice like this ( lack of funds), but I can make this choice now and I have. For everyone who gets these headers , and they work out fine, and thats what your budget dictates, more power to ya'. Go for it and enjoy. I just wish you could have helped out <insert name here> in the USA to keep his job just a little longer. No hard feelings. To each his own.

got everything on. i have never installed headers before so it was a pain in the a#@ but it was well work every cut and minute spent because it sounds amazing. still waiting on the corsa to come in so i had to bolt the ti's back on. i only have one minor issue. the front o2 sensors were to short so i extended them but the angle that the long tubes were at will not let me fit the sensors in there. i guess ill have to cut a whole in the metal plate above all in all so far i am very impressed with obx and would recommend to anyone. ill see if i can get some pics up.

Did you unclip the O2 splice connectors from the frame prior to extending them? Just curious as to how far back they are!

Good job!!!!!!! Anxious to see the pics...
