I've got an image copy laying around but trying to find HD space to port it over to a CD. Been trying to finish a few Supra units to distribute but should have some more time to get back on the C5 unit feasability
Ok, I'm set with the manuals. Thanks everyone. I'll be sifting through them shortly and let everyone know how feasible this will be with regards to the ignition circuits.
Ok. Need a quick wire color check for the ignition switch. Schematics are a bit fuzzy, but there are two connectors that plug into the ignition switch. Need to know what color wires are on the left side, and what colors are on the right. One should have 4 wires, another should have 5. So far, I wouldn't have to touch the microcontroller and it looks as if all ignition positions can be controlled properly.
The unit works on other makes, so most of the unknowns is just wiring. Tim that might help, thanks. I will be releasing a unit for someone at close to my cost. The idea is we will work together to make sure it works. If in the end it doesn't work, they get they're money back without questions. But, someone will have to be comfortable cutting wires and at least soldering. That photo up there showing the wires; obviously the entire thing will need to be removed. I can provide tabs on the wire ends such that you can insert the tabs into the two connectors that plug into that key cylinder. That should allow you get get away from cutting/soldering until we are ready to complete the install (incase you need to revert back to the key cylinder).
Everything else as was spoken here is trivial. I'm going to work on an instruction manual that should help with the installation with every step you would need for a C5.
I was an electronics technician in the Air Force for 20 years and very comfortable with soldering and have all the equipment needed. Actually this type of work is a breeze to perform.
My issue is freeing up the cash. If you need a test mule I can do an install and verify or work out any bugs with you over the phone then send everything back to you to finalize the kit so we can get this rolling.

PM sent, I'll be installing new Speedhut IPC faceplates soon as well so everything will be apart anyway. Archery season starts Oct. 4 so I have sufficient incentive to get this done ASAP!
