427 Warhawk.
I felt that I was being more than generous and reconcilatory accepting the "fix" on those intake manifold bolts. But this? Game's over as far as I'm concerned.

Chris talked to Bryan at LME today, and Bryan has offered to refund my money completely on the engine, and build me a completely new engine using a RHS block. I'm not sure of what brand of heads, but they will NOT be World Products. But I believe the heads will be more expensive than the Warhawk heads.
So the two questions I need answered are (1) How much more this new engine will cost compared to what I already spent, and (2) what kind of time frame we are talking about.
Once I know those answers, I will then decide what to do.
I guess the criteria I am weighing the most will be how much longer I will have to go without having my car to drive.
But I'm also really relieved. I thought I had a court battle ahead of me.
Thank you, Chris, for going to bat for me. And thank you, Bryan, for taking the high road with this problem.

Personally, I hate to ask that of him. That's a lot of damn work. He's going WAY above and beyond on this build. So I guess it depends on the timeframe. I doubt the heads will be THAT much more expensive then those Warhawk LS7X heads were. BTW, we want 6 bolt holes per cylinder on the heads, so that does limit our choices somewhat.
Bryan told Chris that they are not going to tear down my old engine and move the internals to the RHS block and the heads. They are going to order all new components and just resell that Warhawk block. I'm sure they will likely go over those heads with a fine tooth comb and fix the faults before selling them.
Things are looking up, finally. At least I don't feel like just pushing my car out onto the front parking lot at XtremeMotorsports and putting a FOR SALE - AS IS sign on it. Seriously I was almost at that point earlier today...
Oh, someone asked why I wanted to go with Warhawk. Well, because I heard from some sources that it was the BEST. Maybe had I gotten a good one, it could be, but certainly my experience should give anyone pause about making a similar decision. I know Chris has already told me that he will NEVER install another Warhawk motor in his shop. And from what I have seen, I certainly can't blame him for thinking that way at all.
Well, I tossed and turned all night with all this crap running through my head. Hopefully I'll sleep MUCH better tonight.
And in case I haven't stated this plainly... THANK YOU BRYAN FOR HANDLING THIS LIKE A TRUE PROFESSIONAL.
I said I had been looking for a 2009 Z06 3LZ (cyber gray, spider chromes, ebony interior) but could not get one for a price I wanted to pay. I set a limit of $70K out the door, local sales tax included) and just could not find one for that price. So I gave up and decided to put about half that amount into a major upgrade for my C5 Z06.
In reality, I had originally planned on selling off much of my gun collection and buy a ZR-1 when I first heard of it. But GM didn't make that the car I wanted to buy at that price. So I decided to put the money into a new garage and a new Z06 (mentioned above). Obviously NOTHING in this went as I would have liked it to go....

Some friendly advice on the forced induction....
If you must have twin turbos I would suggest the TTIx set-up and forget about an sts deal.
Better yet, save yourself some headaches and give Kenne Bell the nod.
Been there, done that with twin turbos.... to do it over again (which I am) I'm bolting on a simple blower kit.
I wish you good luck from here on out!!!
p.s.- I'm curious to know what kinda guns bring in close to six figures? Class III?
