So do I understand you use LS7 lifters? Why not LS9 lifters?
Don't know anything about them. Maybe we can though if they are better. I am about to work on the first LS9 I have seen here next week. What do you know about them. Are they any different than the other GM stuff?

As stated earlier, I would love to see the photos of these failed lifters that you see “at least every month”.
In regards to your earlier post you mentioned LS7 lifters. One more myth that some folks seem to add to the propagation of, “If you are going to replace lifters, only use the LS7 lifters!”
Fact,
There are currently only two OEM suppliers of lifters for LSx engines. If you order new lifters for an LS3, LSA, LS7, LS9, LS2, LS1 or LS6 you will receive the exact same part. If you are paying a premium to someone for “true LS7” lifters, you are getting screwed.
