I don't actually know much about cams, but I know enough to ask you some questions that will help other people help you.

What are your expectations from the cam? Max peak power? Broader torque curve?
Do you want a smooth idle, or would you prefer something that rumbles and sounds mean?
Any potential of going forced-induction down the road?

Best of luck!

MS3 is a great cam. Makes good power and has a nice chop to it. Cam and exhaust only with a six speed should put down 400-412 rwhp. I can give more specifics on horse power gains on that cam. The wifes daily driven WS6 had the MS3 and put down 470 rwhp.

MS3 is a good cam, I like mine alot. Power doesnt kick in until 3K-3.5K rpms. Mine made 412.6RWHP and 379.4RWTQ with my stock intake manifold and bolt ons.

Power will come on a little sooner with heads and Fast 92. The more air you can get in the better it works.

Ture. I'll be doing my heads soon. I just put a FAST 92 on a month ago. No dyno yet. Waiting for the heads and or S/C

Doing the fast 92 Nick Williams 92 tb and zo6 maf picked up 20 rwhp with no tune. With a tune total gain was 29 rwhp. Texas speed LS6 heads cnc ported picked up 34 rwhp.

MS4 responds better to gas then the MS3 from what I have heard and seen. For the MS3 with no gas I would run a 410 gear. If you plan to spray it 373's and a tall tire. The wifes WS6 still had 342's and that car pulled hard.

Our SNL VX cam made 495rwhp in a 5.7l GTO thru 3.90s, it's close to the MS4 and will take advantage of the ported heads better than the ms3. The SNL V4 would be similiar to the torquerV3, Chris

Steve@SNLperformance.com or call the shop @817-750-2000...as with any cam with 10*+ of overlap, drivability is going to come down to the tuner.
