Other than needing the obvious intake/TB/injectors/waterpump, what LS1 parts could you re-use (oil pan, valve covers/coils, balancer, accessory drive, flywheel, etc?) and what would you need to buy to swap this into a C5?
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Most everything will swap over from your existing vehicle. Exhaust, accessories, water pump, oil pan, coils, flywheel/clutch etc. If it's in good condition (not needing replaced anyways) and suitable for your newfound power (clutch), swap it over and use it.
You will need:
Intake setup completed with fuel rail, injectors, and TB of your choice (Nick Williams or LS2)
Injector adaptors
Your balancer will work if in good condition, also consider a new one while you are in there or even an aftermarket underdrive balancer.
To drill and tap for your knock sensors on the side of the block. New harness included with the engine.
I wouldn't consider running this engine with your factory exhaust manifolds. If you don't have them already, please get headers.
