No......a POSSIBILITY is the solenoid. You could have an issue with the lock cylinder, which will cause the exact same symptoms. That would show up in the codes...

Switch was replaced earlier this year.

Whoa there, I was not confirming anything. I merely offered that up as likely suspect given your symptoms. A starter solenoid is a very easy component to test. And I would recommend you do precisely that before you replace it.

Looks like a possible column lock short or open. I put the code info in your quote.

Default Codes

Try this list. If none are affected by you ignition switch then you can probably delete them. Also, if they are followed by an "H" they are history codes and have probably been addressed or have been "relearned" by the appropriate electronic module if the problem no longer exists. If they are followed by a "C" then you have a problem with that system. Try pulling the codes with the car idling and see if any "C" codes popup.

My friend,,,, That is still a LOT of DTCs. Seems that you have a POWER ISSUE some where somehow... Make SURE that the battery is 100% GOOD and properly charged.

Make sure that the battery cables are properly installed. CLEAN, & torqued to 11 Ft/lbs.

The door electrical harness connectors are WELL KNOWN to have connection issues. Especially the power connector. POP OUT the rubber accordion tube , pull up the connectors from the A Pillar hole, examine the FEMALE PINS and make sure that they are not SPREAD APART.

If they are repair or replace the pins.

FIND THE BAD PINS!!

No C codes while idling. I couldn't figure out how to delete the codes even with the instructions.

Thanks Bill. The pictures explained what you said. "A picture is worth a 1,000 words" especially to the mechanically challenged like me.

Thanks again Bill. I wasn't holding the reset in. It just so happens I had a new battery put in this week.

Disconnecting the battery does not clear the codes, just so ya know.

And btw, you'd have gotten this diagnosis 10 days ago if you'da posted the codes... However, R&R on the battery won't give you all the codes you listed. Some of them, yes.

Let everyone know what you still have after clearing them and moving forward will be a snap. (probably going to end up finding an issue or two you didn't know you had)

/edit
And just so you know, virtually all your codes you will get are going to be "H" codes. Even when they are current. It's just the way the system views the conditions. That does not mean it'll take any time for them to come back. Literally within seconds of setting the key to run, or possibly starting the car, they'll be back. In the case of the codes you have, I don't think any of them will require starting the car (could be mistaken).

I wrote a reply yesterday but saw it was redundant so I nixed it. In there, I did see that 3 of your codes you list are not even in my service manual. Might be cause mine is a 98 manual. I forget which 3. Possibly B0436H, B2809H, B2261H??? Sorry, don't recall.
