DIC Problem

DIC Problem
On initial start-up the DIC lights up with the normal Chevrolet banner, then it goes blank... and stays blank. Have checked all the fuses and cleaned the grounding blocks, but found nothing amiss. All other features of the instrument panel work fine. Have others encountered this problem? What corrective steps can I take?

Have you actually measured the DC Voltage on the IPC Fuse??? On top of every fuse are two test points. Measure each test point to chassis ground. You should have battery voltage on them with the ignition ON! See if it goes away when it goes blank! If it does, you most likely have a bad ignition switch.
