Heads up display
I recently purchased a 2001 C5 with 65000 miles mint condition. However thr HUD does not illuminate onto the windshield. Is there a fuse or anything I should be checking?

I have a 2005 c6 so i don't know if yours is the same as mine ? Mine doesn't work either. I 1st thought maybe a fuse. I can look down thru the windshield & can see it is trying to move. Someone told me they have plastic hinges that break & it isn't an easy fix. Maybe yours is different & a easy fix. So if are still having problems let me know.

Odds are really good that it does work, but it's fallen down and is pointing at the floor. Common problem, the pivot pin on the HUD is a little piece of plastic that breaks. You can tell if you go into a dark garage, then put your nose on the windshield and look very closely. I was certain mine was not illuminating until I did this, and I could see a very faint blue glow. That will confirm if you have the plastic pin problem.
