I sent you a PM. I'm sorry for the delay in responding. I have been off the forum recently due to work commitments.

Both the LS1 and the LS6 have the same 78mm t/b, so the t/b hose diameters should be the same. The 102 flavor would indeed need a different hose diameter on the t/b end.

Also, if the distance between the radiator and the t/b are different between the LS1 and LS6, that would justify different hose lengths for sure.

Agree, which is why I mentioned LS6(LS1) also LS2 which is larger and then the 102 which is the largest. Common mod is to get at least a LS2 size TB on these cars. Hopefully a simple adjustment on your end to accommodate and widen the market of people that can buy your intake.

Especially with 3D printing, should be a super easy solution.

Great work.

I believe the LS2/3/7 TBs all have the same OD for the hose as the LS1/6 at 4". Its just the opening in the middle that is different.

The 102 TBs are the only ones entirely different.

Interesting outcome. I read almost all the way through. At first when I saw the blade maf I was wondering if this was a second hand part from a C6. But upon seeing Smitty's LS7 breather I nixxed that concept.

I also believe more shadetree mechanic work could have succeeded. Sometimes the trick with the silicone tubes is which item it gets mount to first in order to retain some rigidity and alignment. If you look at the first pictures at the top you can see that the clamp on the TB is angled and therefore was neither secured first nor fully/correctly. The tube never sat flat against the TB if the clamp is still loose like that. And so the bridge was able to flop up. If the silicone were secured and then the opposite end were trimmed back such that the nose of the bridge sat near to flush with the TB when mounted then I think this would have been in business despite the 1/8" ID difference. Being so close the tube would not have room to flex and would secure the bridge firmly in line with the TB once pushed in and clamped firmly. In doing so you basically have the same product as what Halltech printed but in silicone form. And maybe I'm wrong. Who knows?

Always lube the the inside lips of the silicone tube with some soap and water so get a good slip fit. It dries cleanly. In a pinch I've used water and simple green too. But a little dish soap goes a long way.

And from boosted experience I would suggest T-clamps all day for any silicone coupling vs the throw-away radiator clamps shown.

I previously don't know Halltech from Haltech, but I do recognize now that BOTH appear to chase with good customer support and I will bear that to others when they're in the market.

I know it's been a while since I've shared my feedback but I just wanted to update this thread and let everyone know that the new bridge and coupling came in and with the new design it fits GREAT.
With that being said I did have to swipe my file a couple of times to get the MAF in but I'd rather it be a snug fit.
I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to HALLTECH and say that I'm beyond thankful for everything they've done for our community. Truly a company that goes above and beyond for customers! The new design fits perfect!!

Also a huge shoutout to everyone in this forum. With this thread of simply asking if anyone had issues, am I doing something wrong or if there's a workaround not only did everyone benefit from a better fitting part but also a lot of information and experiences have been passed around.
This is a great forum!
