2. Baby cams suck. The bigger the better.
3. Stock-sized valves suck. The bigger the better.
4. Small ports suck, are only good for TQ. For big HP, the bigger the better.
5. HP is better than TQ.

1. Anything under a 3000 stall sucks.

the myths just never stop
Your car won't break in with synthetic oil.
It's cheap insurance to channge oil every 3000 miles.
C5 rotors warp easily.
Changing stock plug wires, even if they are in good shape, will give you more horsepower.
Cross drilled rotors give you better braking performance.
This $400.00 intake will give you xx more horsepower. I can tell by the feel.
Zaino lasts longer than anything else.
This is actually a good post. :yesnod:
I see 100% of people selected Answer using personal experience
I'm really confused by this.
IMO the value of this forum has gone to total and complete s h it! :U
I constantly read "advices" or "opinions" that make me laugh my azz off :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: People just repeat what they read, heard or over-heard.
Once the same thing gets repeatedly posted a few times - it becomes an accepted rule.
I could give you a hundred examples of this
I would suggest that unless you REALLY know FOR SURE don't make a claim.
If you just heard of somebody's results and want to post about it at least mention that this info is second hand so that everybody knows...

Here's two more rules/myths
1) If you make low dyno numbers you suck
2) If you make high dyno number you are a dyno queen
The "Answer using personal experience" is good, but should not be taken to mean that unless you have personal experience, you should never reply to a post. Here's a good example:
Someone asks how fast a 2001 coupe is in 0-60 MPH. How many of us have the $10,000 instrument that Car & Driver and other car mags have to actually find out? Why is NOT okay to say that this magazine has tested the C5 and found it to do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds? In other words, I maintain that if you do not have personal experience, but can identify the source of information, then by all means, do it. It is up to the person asking the question to decide whether the he or she wishes to believe the source.
Ruling out this type of response is a disservice to all.
