Default Solution to Buffeting

I had a really nice surprise today. The weather here in Florida is absolutely perfect for top off right now and I discovered I had no buffeting at all today - absolutely none at any speed (up to 80 today). How? I installed a cargo partition (2 minute job) from Exotic Vette a couple of weeks ago! I love the partition and its worth every penny to get rid of the buffeting when the windows are down or the top is off! Plus it looks a lot better than it did with the device I was using to stop the buffeting that raised the trunk lid a bit.

Yes it will fit and it's the only partition that will.

The 'buffeting' was so bad you would drive around with your rear hatch open. I recall hearing about the 'hatch open' gizmo but I never heard of anyone that used one. I'm really glad the partition solved your problem

Thanks for sharing.

Default Ok...

Well someone tell me why this hasn't been advertised as such? I think exotic vetts needs a new marketing person IF this is true. Can some others with this confirm the buffeting reduction claim?

Who can confirm the buffeting benefit? That would seal the deal for me!

I don't really care for buffets much.

Sorry, I must be hungry.

I've had it in my C6 for several years and it has several benefits that work for me. The rear speakers sound better and there is less noise from the rear. In addition it provides a neat storage space that stops items from sliding to the rear. I also have Exotic Vettes insulation package. I never remove my top so I can't answer the buffeting question.

The targa top fits like a factory install. And by the way, I have absolutely no afffiliation with the vendor.

Tom: how is it secured? Or do you just simply set it in place.

And yes, today was a gorgeous day. I'm in heaven down here.

I did once, for a week while the new roof was being painted. They took the old one for a good match. It didn't work, they did it twice and still is not a good match. I see no reason to take it off again.

I've had the divider since it came out. Still get buffeting, unless the side windows are up.
