There is one good reason for multiple posts that give the same answer or just agree to an answer already given, and that's to give the OP the sense that enough folks think a given answer gets enough votes to be good one.

You might as well make the Corvette forum a 'library' instead of a forum. When it gets down to it, the vast majority of subjects have been covered dozens of times. Maybe someone puts a different spin on something but it chances are, it's already been covered.
A forum is a bit more dynamic than just a reference library...it has a certain social and entertainment value as well. Isn't it wonderful?

Why not make a wiki with all the Corvette topics searchable and updateable by forum members - like wikipedia.
