Default These cars need to be aired out

Took the car out and had to make a quick turn so gunned it (about 3/4 throttle) and lets just say i made the turn pushing near the century mark like it was nothing.
Its crazy how much power this car has and with the new nittos it can turn 90 degrees at probably 60 without rolling. Now i can make some pretty hairy turns and the car pushes thru the corner but doesnt tilt or even think about rolling. With some better pavement and hotter tires it would be even better.
Point of this all is this car needs the crap driven out of it and I am just not getting enuf room or feel safe enuf (too much traffic, which is fun but not safe) to do it. I need a really good high speed fix and some track time at laguna or somewhere. Drive the crap out of them boys ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thats what they are made for. Be safe, paul

At first I never ran mine hard. I was so thrilled with having a C6 I was afraid I would hurt it. Then I started doing the NASA runs and got hooked on making the car perform. Now I can't get enough of it.
You are right, drive the car like it was designed to be driven. You could keep it a garage queen so that in 50 years it will go back up in value, but by doing that, you will never get to truly enjoy the car.

I think I like those wheels better than my Gumbys.

Where did you get the flag in your garage?

I couldn't agree more. Track your car and do it often.

Paul,

So you got rid of the runflats?? Which tires did you go with? Are they less noisy than the GY runflats? Anymore info on them?

I see you have it poised next to the first tee.
I know you love your Vette, but note that even though they hold 2 sets of clubs, they make lousy golf carts.

I don't know about that, the wide tires would not be bad at leaving tracks in the grass
