I will give the dealership credited in that they finally made it right. I still believe it shouldn't have taken over two months, hours on the phone during numerous calls to GM and the dealership, and lots of research (thanks again) to get it done.
Leason learned: DO NOT COUNT ON "CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED". Check out the car yourself. If I had known then that it was the wrong console, I would have walked away. This vehicle had broken and missing parts and other issues. I am much more informed on Corvettes than I was before.
They did end up fixing almost everything. They replaced all the missing pieces and all the broken pieces were related to the console. The only things they didn't fix were the rough idle, which they said is normal, and the squealing brakes, which they said they couldn't find anything wrong.
Thank you all again for standing behind me and helping make this a positive outcome.
