c6 Backup camera
Looking for some advice and recommendation on a backup camera for my C6. It is a 3LT with Navigation so I want something that is compatible with the factory radio.

What year is your Vette? From what I understand, the earlier cars' radios equipped with Nav are not compatible with a back-up camera. I have a 2007 3LT with Nav and it would be a lot easier to replace the radio with a late model aftermarket unit with Nav and set-up for a back-up camera.

Factory radios are not CAM capable.
Not the cheapest but definitely the easiest solution to adding a quick rearview camera for a Corvette where you want to keep the stock radio:

Keep in mind you will easily spend twice that amount to put an aftermarket radio, control adapters, rear camera, and labor to install for an aftermarket radio and lose HUD integration. If you are fine with OEM radio and navigation and only want to add backup camera capability swapping out the radio is not a cost effective option at all.

Unfortunately, the GM Nav Radio does not have any video inputs for a BU camera. There was LockPic 360 that was once available as a harness to add a video feed, but it was not that popular, so it got canned. Every once in awhile you see one on the FS section of this forum.
I got a cheap camera, and added a monitor inside the sunvisor where the vanity mirror used to sit. It's out of sight, looks OEM, and is easily accessible when needed.
The Homelink for the garage door opener still works on the sunvisor.

Yikes.. At $500 i'd throw another $200 and get a camera and a better radio..

I just understand why my 07 burb had backup camera and my 2013 GS doesn't when it's basically the same F-ing radio made by the same guys put in the same brand of car. Ok rant is over.

Very clever solution to use the visor, besides the covers on my vanity mirrors have broken off.
