Ok so if you remember the only complaint I have with the e force is the clicking of the rotors. I think it sounds like a loose lifter. After I changed the pulley it confirmed it was not a lifter. The rattle noise is much worse.. So now I need to buy better speakers . I noticed today when I was going 60 and I was coming to a stop sign so I was coasting. The rattle was well rattleing But when I hit the brakes it went away so I played with this and sure enough every time I hit the brakes it goes away. So I am thinking this is fixable and the e force will be perfect . So, what is this and how do I fix it? I am sure Ken will know, he knows everything about this setup help me Ken
The earlier Maggies could have "rotor knock" which was only evident when using a fairly sizable cam. There was apparently a little slack in the drive set up and a rough idleing cam would cause a little bit of a knocking/tapping sound from the rotors. Don't have a clue if this is a characteristic of the TVS also. I've never heard it in mine, but my idle is set at 900 and it idles pretty smooth at that rpm.

Have you asked EForce tech support about this sound? I have seen the eforece on Camaro and there was no clicking noise at all.
Sorry for the delayed response....I was off trying to troubleshoot a bank 1 bank 2 lean condition on the 2010 Avalanche....anyhew
Let's start from the top. You bought the complete LG Motorsports cam kit right? It came with the Comp Cams 921 dual springs if you did. I have a different LG cam but the same springs as you. They will talk to you even when everything is right. It is a clicking sound not unlike a loose lifter. I recall that you had previously mentioned a low oil pressure problem after the cam install. Did you investigate and resolve that problem? What is your oil pressure at idle with the engine fully warmed up? What oil pressure do you see with the engine at 2500rpm? At 4000rpm?
Reply back to those couple of questions and we'll move on from there.

Yes I bought the LG kit. Oil pr. Cold idle is around 45 hot 25. At 2500rpm it is around 40 hot and at 4000rpm I think it is close to 60. It really only is low at a hot idle. I use the recommended oil. I was thinking of going to a str8 40 wt. ????? I think that was all the questions
OK, sounds as if your oil pressure is within norms. With the car sitting still and the hood up are you hearing this noise? If yes, can you clearly discern whether it is coming from under a valve cover or from the supercharger head unit? They are very close to each other so be careful with your answer.

You need to get the car to a shop that knows superchargers and let them listen to it. Preferably an Edelbrock approved shop but anyone with Magnacharger experience would do. You'll want to call Edelbrock in the morning and find out where you nearest Edelbrock guy is at. You may have broken something or have a bad head unit. One thing is certain, it won't cure itself. Too far for me to come to the rescue.

I'd remove tension from the belt and take the belt off the blower pulley, then bounce the pulley back and forth by hand and listen to see if it makes the same sound. It is possible that the clearances on the blower are too large leading to the noise... If you posted a video it'd be easier to comment on how much noise is too much...
You might be able to hear it by rocking the snout pulley back and forth by hand with the belt off but I'm inclined to think you won't get enough load/rotation to hear anything of value. It would help understand what's going on if Coolhand would post a video with the noise.
He mentioned "when he hits the brakes it goes away". What comes to mind is the brake booster pulling vacuum when you hit the brakes which will change what the bypass valve in the supercharger is doing. Maybe a bypass valve noise/issue but very hard to tell with nothing more than a description.

The brake booster only pulls a very tiny, nominal amount of vacuum for a moment when the pedal is released, and only if vacuum is availabe since it has a check valve on the booster. If this had anything to do with the brake booster the noise would blip off for a moment when he released the brakes and they go back to whatever it was before.
