Default E Force price increase

The E-Force price is increasing for the Corvettes on Jan 24. We do not have the new MAP price but it looks like the price is jumping $1000+ dollars. I have a LS3 unit in stock that would be sold at old pricing and I can order a LS3 or LS2 under old prcing until the 21st of the month.
If you are interested in one let me know.
Thanks
Justin

Any chance the new prices you are looking at reflect the dry sump cars only? That's about the increase I would expect for the additional parts/pieces required for the LS3/LS7 dry sump cars.

That would be a HUGE percentage increase?? Hard to believe they'd go up that much on a new product that's not well established yet. I'm thinking Motorhead might have the answer to this increase.... if not a grand more certainly isn't going to spur new sales.

Either way I'm glad I got mine purchased last August...

You'd have to buy a $700.00-ish radiator if you were to go with a centri on the dry sump motors....big Z06 oil cooler has to go to make room for the air-to-air intercooler.

The MSRP on that ZR1 oil cooler is $700 + the two hoses it needs + whatever those two hoses plug into.

I wonder why Edelbrock chose the ZR1 oil cooler idea over say an upgraded Dewitts radiator w/internal oil cooler.

It is nuts but it's true, I just had it confirmed by ECS that an increase of approximately $900+ is coming. Based on this, I put down my deposit to hold a unit for my spring install. i do not have a dry sump, just a standard LS2 and the price increase will apply to my unit going forward.

One must remember, OTIS Jr. aka Vic is no longer in control of Edelbrock. Last year he sold the company to an "INVESTMENT GROUP".

I posted over on the Edelbrock forum with a WTFO question to Edelbrock on the rumored price increase. I'll let you know what they say.

Both the A&A and ECS kits are definitely a lot cheaper.

Wow that basically pays for a hood for the TVS 2300 Maggie and I like the looks of that setup better. The cost difference of not needing a hood was what had me interested in the Eforce. Guess thats not going to happen anymore.

You could be right but they are going to turn it into a BAD investment with price increases like that! Many folks are struggling and will 4 dollar a gallon around the corner... I know another grand might have made me think really really hard when I did mine this year. Guess ECS will selling more units with that much of a differential in pricing. Just seem counter productive when you're introducing a new product. I wonder if ALL the E-Force units are going up that much or is just on vettes?

If the price goes up another grand then I'll buy a different kit.

The E-Force is already very expensive for what it is in my opinion.

Edelbrock has got to pay for those increased health insurance premiums somehow, and passing the cost to the consumer is normal. Bummer for us though.
