I've seen that some open their stock fog lights up to provide airflow to side mounted auxiliary coolers for engine oil and/or trans oil. Is using the brake cooling ducts in a revised flow path a way to get enough flow to a side mounted cooler for a street car? Not sure how badly the cooling ducts are needed for the brakes or how much flow it would provide to the auxiliary cooler(s).
The smaller B&M cooler fits best. I ditched the fog lights for more air flow, as well as the brake vent holes go right on the coolers. Had to chop those up a bit. I don't think brake vents help the brakes unless maybe you are road racing the car.

Good to know. I may look at pulling the engine oil out of the radiator since it seems to be driving my coolant temps. If I did that, I need to decide if I block off the oil coolant inlet/outlet in the radiator or get a new radiator once I verify that it helps.
Fog light had to be removed, and cooling duct, and bottom part had to be cut up/removed.
Do you have any good pictures of your fog light holes from the outside looking in to see the cooler? I'm wondering how "finished" it looks and I assume it gets enough air directly across the cooler. The only reason I'm thinking about doing more is that the oil temps are driving my coolant temps right now. Coolant temps hover at 175-185 until the oil temps pass them. Then the coolant temps creep up with oil temps, especially in traffic.
Are you even having a cooling issue? Everything you said sounds like your car is running perfectly normal.
It looks unfinished, and if that is a concern, then doing a bunch of race car stuff may not be the best solution. You have a big gapping hole on each side. I know Jody put some screen or something to make it look better. I don't care, so it will stay as is.
If you aren't seeing 235+ in traffic I couldn't imagine spending $800+ and hackup up the car for something like this.

In traffic for 20 minutes on a 95 degree day without the AC on I crept all the way up to 234 before traffic got moving and it came back down and hovered around 210 cruising at 80.
Is the screen custom and what type of material is it?
made the screen myself.if you use aluminum screening it forms perfectly to the opening without distorting and you use the driving light fasteners to secure in place
