You have to admit, very, very soon is closer than just very soon!

I'm not even going to attempt to give a potential release date until I know we have boxes of them heading this way.

Its useless anyway if you have a modded car...unless they release the Chip Master Revolution software for end user use.

That would make it better than any other platform for tuning since the handheld unit is small and negates the use of a laptop. It datalogs and clears/reads codes as the only uses for a modded car.

Spin, why do you think it is "usless on a modded car", you can modify the preset parameters on the Diablo in any direction you desire, more or less agressive. So, you can customize the tune for a modded car easily. I used this device on my 04' Mach 1 that was moderately modded and it reacted well and was easy to use. The only drawback that I can see is that you cannot measure the AF ratio with this device therefore you are tuning blind when doing any fuel adjustments and you could potenitally lean the car down too far if your not doing the tuning on a dyno and monitoring the AF ratio simultaneously.

My two cents.

FYI...

I spoke with RWD yesterday. They expect to have a production unit for final testing this week. They also said that the mfg company will be closed for the holidays so it is doubtful that anything will be out prior to Xmas.

We can always hope though.

I went ahead and got on the order list.

Most recent update below!

This is a reply to your question from 2005-12-19 21:33

CATEGORY: Predator
QUESTION: [I am amazed that you don't have these yet but what is the availability going to be for the predator for the 2006 Ford F150 5.4 and the 2005 C6 Vette, I have both in the garage????

Thanks]

------------------------------------------------------------

ANSWER:
Dear Dennis,

We are currently working on both application, the C6 Predator should get done first then the 06 F150, I would say about a week for C6 and a month for F150.

Thank you for your interest in DiabloSport!
Stay tuned,
Johan, a proud member of the DiabloSport Support Team

Further proof "a few" may actually mean 20 or more.

Default 2006 C6??????

Anyone have an answer to the question about applicability for 2006 Vettes. The west coast tuners tell me my 2006 is different from 2005. No one out here has 2006 capability yet (any day I'm told).

They are getting closer. That is all that I'll say

2006 will be seperate. Probably won't see that for awhile.
