Default Biggest Rubber under C6

I am planning to purchase 18X9 - 19x11 z06 reproduction rims for my 2008 c6 w/z51. What are the largest tires that will fit in the rear without widebody or sticking out. Anybody w/ pics running this setup please post. Doesn't have to be the zo6 wheels. thanks

I'm curious too for future plans on my 05 Z51. Anyone?

The absolute largest that you are going to fit under the stock GM body work would be a 275 or 285 front tire and a 325 rear.

There are some track guys that are running up to a 305/335 combo but they tend to stick a little past the body lines.

I run 315's front and rear at the track with no sticking out past the fenders and no rubbing on the control arms or tie rods. I added Z06 ducts which do rub barely at full lock. Otherwise they fit fine. I'll be switching to 315f/335r for next season.

Here is from last Saturday. You can see the tires tuck in nicely. Pics by BryanH

I'm running CCW SP16A wheels, 9.5” x 18” front / 11” x 19” rear with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT’s...275/35ZR18 front / 325/30ZR19 rear...stock Z06 tires. The rear tires stickout from the body panel about 1/4" or so...not much.

Honestly, on the back I wouldn't go bigger than 315 if its a daily driver. 305 is probably a great size if your looking for meat with solid traction. Plus the the bigger the more $$$$

My 2 cents...

I thought there have been problems with the 305 due to the height difference between front and rear and it causing the traction control to go crazy or something because it thinks it's spinning quicker than it should be compared to the front?

I'm running 265/35/18 on 18X10 CCW505's front and 305/30/19 on 19X11's on the rear and the heights worked out almost perfect. Better than the stock sizes as I recall. I'd like to go to 275 and 315 next but the tires are hard to find. Abolutely no problems whatsoever with this package other than keeping the wheels clean!

Very cool...it was just something I thought I remembered hearing.

I'm glad to hear they work out just fine. What brand of tires are they?
