[QUOTE=Tommy D;1562634007]CORVETTEFORUM.COM C6 Corvette ET Rankings
Times are received from all over the country and are not corrected. Because track and weather conditions vary, this list ranking does not, and can not, identify the fastest cars or drivers in any particular order. It only lists the recorded times, regardless of conditions, in order from quickest to slowest. In cases where ET is the same, the higher MPH determines list order.
In order to become part of the list I need the following:

I have to agree with Grumpy on this one guys. I have tried very hard to keep all our discussions regarding enforcement of the new rules by private message or e-mail.
In order to keep my sanity I have for the first time utilized the "IGNORE LIST" I have placed two of the most offending members on my list and would suggest that all of you do the same.
We have already lost one old time, respected member of the CF forum as a result of the on going argument. Getting the list locked would ruin the effort all of us have put into making it a useful tool for us and the supporting vendors.
Recently we (some CF members) gave Callaway quite a bit of grief regarding their 11.56 time slip. Mike and the Callaway organization handled the situation with class. They were frank in their discussions with us and provided supporting information for us to analyze. They even took the time to answer very specific questions in private messages.
Mr. Reeves Callaway took the time to answer our concerns (sent via private message to the board of the ¼ mile challenge) and as a result of Callaway’s time, effort and respect for our opinions they earned our respect.
Unfortunately, not all our members have the same attitude. They may not play by the rules and may have their own agenda. We all know the rules and it would seem foolish for us to let a two bad apples ruin the bushel.
From: NJ..."the way I saw it, everyone takes a beating sometimes."
The majority of the members here are well established, intelligent, and respectful people. No one is forced to participate on this forum. We come here to share our knowledge and overall enthusiasm for the Corvette. There are several members here who go out of their way to help other Vette owners. One Guy in particular who actually travels to do free installs and tunes in his spare time. I'll say it again in case you missed it the first 100 times it was told to you. This list is done voluntarily by Tommy D. He gets absolutely nothing out of it other than our appreciation for his efforts. The list is not "official". It isn't recognized by the NHRA or any of it's affiliates. However it is widely known by most computer-literate, automotive enthusiasts. It is used as a source of referance. There's no winner or loser. There wont be any money handed out or trophies or plaques awarded to anyone. You seem to have a problem with how Tommy runs the list. I'm not going to get in the middle of that because I don't know exactly what your beef is. I do know that you seem to be making the most noise about it though. At the end of the day though, your car runs what it runs. Who cares if a couple of guys on the internet possibly doubt you? Does it make your car any less quick than what you claim.....?
enjoy your C6. You're still the envy of thousands.
