Just an FYI, the NPP exhaust option wasn't even available until the 2008 model year.

Did he have a lot of wheel spin at the launch?

Wow! What a difference a lower elevation track makes. No wonder you coastal guys run so good.

Two other guys and myself met Christopher (Subfloor) for a day at the Sacramento track. The trip odometer showed 1751 miles since Friday morning, but the drive, the company, and the results were worth it. I'll let the others tell their experiences, so here's mine.

My first pass was a 10.95 and then it got better. I made 12 full passes, with 10 of them below 11 flat. The best is the one for the list, of course.

Thanks Tommy for keeping the list going and for the encouragement I've had from everyone.

1. Your entire profile completed. Yep
2. A copy of your entire time slip posted to the thread as in post # this one
3. The complete the details of your pass using this template in your post:
4. Year Corvette 2008
5. Type of Trans A6
6. Type of Suspension F55
7. Stock Performance options (as in optional gears with the automatic, & etc.) none
8. Tires utilized Hoosier 275/40/17 DR'S
9. Modifications if any: tune, complete Z06 exhaust system, 3600 Yank converter, Vararam, skinnies, ptb
10. Dyno numbers if you have them. The only numbers that matter are on timeslips.
11. As much info you may want to add about the run, launch techniques, tire air pressure & etc. Good track prep, 18 psi
12. Typed in the post (as some time slips get deleted & etc after being posted)

Let me be the first to congat you. You now have the record for the bolt-on LS3's. Sound like Dennis's record is also within reach. I've never raced my LS3 with a -700 DA..but the boys from Jersey have that luxury. Good luck with future records....MIKE

Good running HOXXOH! You are making it tough to get that #1 bolt-on. Guess I'll have to shoot for #3 and forget #1. Way to go!

Well, we did have two this year so far -793 when I made my run and -800+ last Wed...want to wait a couple of weeks for the cam and watch the weather? The DA on your run was only -199.

I'll drive up and root you on buddy! And if you buy a wideband and borrow Jeremys cord I can tweak your tune at the strip. It helps believe me. Have them throw in a wideband this week as the weather doesnt look good this week.

Hoxxoh, fantastic runs! I get updates when subfloor posts videos....wow you were putting down some times, over and over again. Way to go!!! What was the DA?

And your dedication to drive 1800 miles to race is incredible. That is dedication. I tip my hat to you, you earned those slips.

What are your mods? Your profile says "a whole bunch more". Do you really NOT have headers?? That is amazing!! Do you have a fast?

Just a quick warning though to those that are easily offended - there's an audible "holy f**k" uttered at the very end of it by someone standing next to me.

I think that 102 is for real although not sure what DA I would need to run the same but I ran a 99.24 mph in the 1/8 in +400 DA with my stock converter. The 125 too assuming his 3-4 shift is better than mine.

I missed the part about it being a LS3. Was thinking it was an LS2. The LS3 makes more sense

You would probably need -1000 da.

DA was not that great at Sac on Saturday per Dragtimes, -753, but 51 deg, 30.28 baro (those two items are great)...but 89% humidity! That is high humidity which makes the traction and power shown in the run that much more impressive. I personally have a heck of a time getting traction on a 89% humidity foggy day like shown in the video.

But there is a big difference between -199 and -799. Jeremy Preston told me that for his NHRA Vette racecar he uses .01 for each 100 DA change when dialing. That works out pretty accurately for my car too actually.

Boy we all really split hairs don't we.

It helped that he finally did a manly burnout
The bad thing is his best run of the day was his last.....a 10.814 !!!!
Why is it bad ? The woman running the time slip shack had shut down the equipment prior to his run...therefore, there is no paper evidence of the run other than the 3 CF eyewitness'.

Unfortunately eye witnesses of the board are only so good.

I have personally made passes where the board read 11.3 and it was an 11.7. I've had incorrect boards at two different tracks in Houston (Houston Raceway Park and Lonestar Motorsports Park).

I know the car moves out, and I completely believe the 10 second runs. I was just adding that in there.

No worries
If there's no paper slip to back it up he couldn't post it up. He took the correct approach and posted the slip for his best "documented" run.

Was just noticing that Theofel's bolt on ls3 ran 98 in the 1/8 and 126 in the 1/4...26 mph in the back half seems about right.

I run about 30 mph in the back half being a manual.

Name: 8f6ea274.jpg

23 in the back half seems too slow...and 102 mph seems too high. I wonder if the timer screwed up on the 102.
