I see you also realized it is easier & much more reasonable just change the mufflers Nice numbers
Very impressive with just those mods which really only amount to nothing more than a tune and drag radials, since the mufflers probably gave you nothing in the way of performance.

Good job Daren
I had a good night as well...moved just a little closer to your stock ET last night though I do highly doubt that I will ever actually catch it LOL.
Yes, the air was obviously very good, car has some more miles on it now and is still a stock A6.
Very very nice Marc! I have been waiting for you to finally run again and I knew it would go 12.3s or better!
What was the DA when you ran? I'm racing today and the DA is going to be about -1000 ft here!! The barometer is 30.5 and still going up, and the forecast high is only 40F (it's only 23F right now!) I'm hoping to finally run 12.9s today in my C5.

Actually, the mufflers got 8 RWHP on the dyno and The tune got 12 RWHP on the dyno, for a total of 20 RWHP extra...which put me at 370 RWHP and i believe 367 TQ

Great run last night. I was very impressed. I still think if the track did not start to go away, you could have ran 12.2x. ( Last pass was at 30 degrees F. )
Nice to meet a fellow vette owner.

Wow, 20 RWHP just from mufflers and a tune. Not to change the subject, but thats why I am not overly excited about a "new engine" in th e '08 Vette supposedly making 430bhp.
You are at that point now with just mufflers and a tune and on an engine which has been in the C6 for a while, known to be dependable, and with several tuning and aftermarket options available to it..
But still 12.150 on a car which has had nothing but a new set of mufflers welded to it, drag radials and tune is pretty darn quick in the quarter mile.

Air was great, never got an exact calculation but it too was at the highest -900 feet, possibly as low as -1300 which is of course part of the reason why I was there. But all that good air comes with a price, track and tires were VERY cold making my normally easy to race Corvette a bit more of a challenge to hook up.
You will definitely see 12s in that air Patman, my friend Rob (Jersey C5) was running with us last night in his stock (well he just added the zip tie mod the day before, computer hadn't fully learned it in yet I bet) well optioned 2004 C5 automatic with 2.73s and he ran a 12.92@107mph backed up by a 12.93 so you WILL do (your car is likely more 'broken in' too, his has 22k on it I think) it especially if you get at least a few chances/runs in.
I do.
I was hoping you would make it out there last night in at least one of your LS2s, might still see ya on one of the Sunday mornings again as well though.
Very Nice Run Marc....especially in an A6!! Good job...You gettting too close to me for comfort...someone is gonna beat my time!!
Someone might (but it will not be easy if they do LOL) but it's very likely going to be another manual. The auto is easier to manage especially when the conditions are ripe for quick ETs but the manual just gets more to the ground and will always make up more time/pull harder on the big end.
I might be able to squeeze a 12.29999 out of this car with better traction (my best sixty foot back in March was a 1.88, best last night was a 1.89) or installing a lighter driver but I honestly don't believe it can physically run any quicker than that without some programming and a lower temp thermostat (which I might try in the coming months).

You did great too Gary, I really did not want to see you go home with a 12.01 (I've seen it happen to others too many times and have even done it once or twice in my Z28 and it's so frustrating LOL) but you will see an 11 out of that stock Z06 soon.
