In an article in one of the vette mags, a tuner said he found several gasolines produced more power on the dyno. Mobil was one of them.

I typically use Chevron or Mobil and add a bottle of Techtron now and then.

Are you sure about that? I can get 100 octane in Huntington Beach. I would think there are a few places in San Diego to obtain premium fuel.

Ethanol= Less energy, more expensive to produce, and as an added bonus, you get to pay more for food too!

Remember, Texaco only has to put a drop of Techron in their tanks to claim their fuel has Techron in it.

Using Shell 93 here plus a bottle of Techron Fuel System Cleaner (not the cheaper Injection Cleaner) every so often.

Citgo's profit does go back to Venezuela but others go back to Saudi Arabia/Iraq/Iran however, all of the refineries are on U.S. soil and have AMERICAN workers. I should know....I am one.

Besides, the gasoline you buy at an Exxon or Shell etc may have been made at CITGO or Chevron etc refineries---as long as the gas meets spec it will be sold under other brand names with thier additive packages (techron, v power, etc) THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THE GASOLINE YOU BUY AT A CERTAIN BRAND OF STATION WAS INFACT REFINED AT THAT BRANDS REFINERIES.

American major oil companies are NOT owned by Arabs. They are owned by stockholders, most of which are non-Arabs. The predominant stockholders in these companies are global stock funds and individual investors. Citgo shouldn't be allowed to exist in America and anyone who purchases from them is supporting a dictator that hates America.
