Sorry. Go to C6 General Discussion. At top of page click on " Sticky: C6 FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) (Multi-page thread 1 2 3 ... Last Page)" Scroll down to the section titled "MODS". The Z51 sway bar installation is in there.
Does anyone know the part numbers for the front and back Z51 sway bars. I called my local dealer to order and they could not find the part numbers. I want to upgrade my C6 bars.
Go to www.jeffhardy.com, click on any Z51, get the VIN# for that Vette, and give it to your dealer. They can use that VIN#, to get the sway bar info, from their computer. -- That's what I did, and it worked for me. -- Good luck. -- --
If you search, there are a whole bunch of threads that recommend the Pfadt polyurethane bushings, so that is what I put on mine. I didn't even bother with the GM rubber.
This is where I bought mine.. I would also recommend you replace the end-links. It's not cheap ($140 to 200), but the cast links you get from GM are usually the first thing on the car to break.
the replacement is easy once you get the wheels off the ground. You will need to have a borrow a decent torque wrench. In the end, you have a MUCH better car for the effort.
