Default Dyno Results IN.

Well I got good news and bad news. The good news is the Car did DYNO
this morning at 9:15 AM. The final numbers were
500.5 RWHP and 457 RWTQ thru 4.10's after about 6 Pulls. I'm happy with the numbers in spite of the known situation with the MISMATCH of the FASTand TRICK FLOWS. I believe that the TRICK FLOW/FAST is the best H&C combo on the Planet.

I did express my concerns about the Mismatch and asked what it may have cost me after showing the Pictures. The bad news is I did not have A chance to try the FAST102 because the tuner had many waiting and getting restless. The Spinmonster CAM is still A Power maker.

Great #'s
Even with a mismatched intake, would have been interesting to see the 102 #'s
I think you have a winner!!

That's 50/50 over my stock head setup.

Amazing. Those heads are the bomb.

The torque spread or gain was greater than the HP gain. The most noticeable perception was in 3rd and 4th gear. I thought I was going to run off the road. Went to 140 real fast. Rpm's were high and the clutch stuck to the floor. I had to pull it back up with my foot. Should have
given the fluid some attention earlier.

Did you get the .drf files from the dyno computer on your thumb drive? If you email them to me joegut at gmail I'll show yours vs. mine on the same graph so we can get the differences at various rpms. Would be a good analysis.

Nice going Leon

I to would like to see if there is any/much difference between your current Fast intake and the 102, enough about that though, how about more info/details about how much you are enjoying driving your car now with all that new power!

John,
I drove that Car home like A little old lady. Its like A calm after the storm of power. You would think the opposite but that has always been the case with me. Took a ride this morning and :

1st from a 10mph roll smashed it. Instant wheel spin too much torque.
2nd wheel spin car wanting to go out of control.
3rd wheel spin then she caught. went thru 3rd very quick.
4th is like third was before. It went to 120 in a few sec.
Later I will put the TRACTIONMONSTERS ( 305/35/18 nitto r2 ) Then
I may get to appreciate 1st & 2nd gears with A little traction. A trip
to the TRACK in hopes of that 10.99 run. I dont have A roll bar so I will have to play the game right or I will get kicked out.

on that clutch spring.

Craigster's heard a 6800 launch! It'll take it!

102 unported would make the same power as a ported 92. a ported 102 makes 9-10rwhp more than a ported 92

That is music to my ears. Is that your guestimate or have you seen some data points.I have seen some tests on the Forum particularly by Vengance
but then again they are selling them. I believe that the 102 couldn't be
worse than the 92 but it is safer than what I had to do with the fuel rail
hold down washers. I had A injector leak at startup that could of reduced my vette to Carbon.

I wish I could have been there for the 6800 Launch. Craig was impressed
I bet. For me to go 10's I have the Power to go 10.7's and the Tires. Problem is Im not the Driver you are let alone DSP who has 20+ more HP/TQ than I have. 526 RWHP is the Record LS2 and so is the 10.58 so
if I can get you to come to PA you can drive it for me and put it in the 10's. I made the same offer to DSP.
I like that little buggy you have for carrying tires & jacks. I seen a pic of it hooked to your Car.

I wasn't always the driver...looking at my run spreadsheet I used to get a lot of 2.1's!! It takes practice period. Like riding a bike and helps to listen to guys who can do it. The key is to not dump the clutch nor ride it too long. There's a happy medium. Don't be discouraged if you don't get 10's right away. Everybody in the 10's or low 11's has a lot of runs under their belt before they got there.

I have a helmet cam now so I'll try to get some vids of launches from in the car so you can hear what I do. That's useful. I listened to my buddy Retrotech a lot and that helped me.

Please try to get the .drf files from the dyno operator. It will be really informative for all of us to see exactly what the TF difference is..and, when you get your 102 on you can see again exactly how much you gained and where.

The Winpep 7 software is free on dynojet's website if you want to do it yourself I'll email you my runs. Or I'll do it for you if you email me yours.
