Default Sorry guys that was A bad dream

A bad dream and forgetting that Dyno DAY is on THURS 4-22-10.
I think I was working on the Car too long. 435/399 was not today
and I hope it wont be on thurs. I had 412/ 408 as A bolton , No TF's No
Cam.
I figure 535/ 499 would be A good imputed Hp/TQ number.

Thanks guys, Leon

Default Final pics of porting chalange

These are the last Pics I took of the Port Match or should I say mismatch
. This time I made some spacers so I could torque the manifold down to
the HEAD at its proper torque which is 89 IN LB. I will also be comparing
the PORTED FAST92 VS 102 which I just purchased from Hinson.

Holy cow...that is some mismatch!!!

I was thinking TFS would be the heads of choice, but if I have to buy a FAST 102 to get a decent port match, well that adds a lot to the purchase price. Will be interesting to see how that 102 matches up.

One fact remains...these are the heads on the fastest and most HP c6's on this board. Apparently with that kind of port mismatch. I wonder how they would do with a properly fitting port match?

Good thread Leon. Keep the info coming.

2 Thoughts. Since these heads have been milled down .035, I'd presume that the mismatch would be more dramatic in stock CC (off the shelf) heads?? The heads would sit .035 higher.
Were they milled evenly across the head or milled at an angle. More off the exhaust side causing the intake side to sit a little higher??

I wish we were talking about .035 mismatch. I would be thrilled with that .
we are talking about .315 in some places. There are some on the sides that arent too bad. The CATHEDRAL and the Floor are gross like 1/8 " on some sides . The Camera does it no justice as comparing to looking at them yourself. They were Bad on the OEM Manifold and I dont know how I got 461 RWHP. Im sure there are those who got more than that on A LS2 CAM only.

Default I can use both Manifolds

Just got the 102 FAST in. " She's a beauty" I'm tempted to change it out for Tomorrow. I do want to do A A-B Test. Ported 92 vs unported 102.
I can tell you this The Ports on the 102, at least the sides are very very Close to the Trick Flows. Here are the pics. Pic #1 is the ultimate answer
use both manifolds. I feel Upbeat now.

I swapped manifolds on the dyno...took 10 minutes. Maybe 15. Be sure to use an air ratchet!

Any comparison of the new FAST 102 to that hogged out (destroyed) FAST 92 is worthless.

Just completed some work on the 102. Had to drill A hole in Front up top for the MAP. Nonetheless I had to take the upper shell off. Got A good look inside. I have plans for that Baby.
