I took a small round file and notched out both the panel and the console it slides next to, then used the supplied double sided tape and secured it. I like the look of where it is. I still haven't used it but will soon. I still didn't remove the console, just pulled the side next to my right hip away far enough so I could push the controller under it.

That's another good mounting option - my '13 doesn't have that panel. You'll like having easy access to the controller as you experiment with the settings.
After several weeks of having this piece, I am still amazed at how well it works.

Ok, my review of this product. I installed it in the car several days ago as mentioned earlier but left at stock setting. So on my way home today, I thought why not try it out. I set it in high (SP9). Holy smokes!!!

Now, I have been read post after post where people were blown away and now I see why. I read where people said it was like a totally different vehicle but their description still left me with some doubt, so let me describe what it feels like to me. You know the feeling the car gives you when you give it about 2/3 throttle? You get that at about 1/3.

I did this with just a few miles from home. I'm sure tomorrow I'll dial it back a little just for comparison. I can easily say just as others have said, that if you want something to make your car fun....this is it. I really like that I can dial it back instantly too.

Are there any high horsepower guys using this? I'm around 700rwhp and wondering if it's going to be too much.

This may sound dumb but the ability to lessen throttle response may be of benefit to someone at your power level. If you're driving in adverse conditions and you don't necessarily want all that power to the ground, you can easily dial it back right from the driver's seat.

I think this unit has enough benefits to make it a better purchase than the others on the market.

There might not be many here using it but there's a much bigger crowd of 5th gen Camaros with it installed.

There's no 'lag' built in at the gas pedal -- all it is is a rheostat; actual response and throttle body plate opening is controlled by the ECM, beyond the reach of the Vitesse device.

I'm guessing it just changes Gas Pedal signal to simulate a higher value than actual?
30% gas pedal is reported as 50%
50% gas pedal is reported as 70%
70% gas pedal is reported as 90%
Etc

At the end, you're still at 100% max, so maybe it just front-loads the sensitivity to the first 1/2 of the gas pedal travel?
My guess, yes. The real ease of the engine/transmission responding much more quickly to the touch of the throttle is, if like the COW Booster, great.

I have a COW Booster/tune and am considering getting this thing, as it is adjustable. The Booster has been the best add on 'mod' I've done.

For me, with the Booster, the throttle will down shift, as well as hold onto a gear longer, as well. Stock my car peddle felt 'mushy' and I had, like others, to get into the push to get the lower gears. It felt like I was starting out in grandma 2nd gear and just pokey. With the Booster it starts in 1st (it started in first stock as well, but shifted to 2nd straight away), and time in gear is longer, and shift down via the peddle is less travel, as well.

Since the Booster is coded into the PCM, I'm thinking this would 'add on' more 'ease'/throttle aggressiveness, even though I don't really want much more aggressiveness, I would still like some, and the ability to be able to self adjust.

Perfect.

My experience is that for those that think there is no delay, you don't know until you know. Trust me. There is a delay. With this unit, you can adjust it to your driving style. They're is about 9 settings and the highest setting is wild wicked, allowing the throttle blade to open fast. You can hear the intake breathing in a lot more air.

This unit also has a Eco mode. Where it limits the throttle body blade. So no matter how hard you step on it, it opens slowly to save on gas. Overall, it is a great mod and at a great price.
So you bought the one for the Cadillac, for your Vette? And yeah, site sponsorship 'pressure' to remove non site sponsor info takes away from the exploration and expression of ideas and limits/sometimes denies valuable conversation and open learning about a topic. I wonder which is most important, $ or open ideas? That's not a real question, is is really a statement posed as a question.

...And if a company in its infancy like Vitesse can move some units they will be much more likely to become a sponsor of this site or another.

According to the entry level advertising rates here, he'd need to sell about 22 units a month to be economically feasible.
If he can sell sell more on lower cost forums, then he may have enough left in the budget to advertise here. Low volume and high costs are why the Corvette tax exists.

Maybe I am not meant to have one of these. Ordered and received one about a week ago. Installed and was not getting any power on the controller switch to program it. There was a loose wire on the harness that female plugs into the stock harness, so that explained why. A replacement was shipped and received. Installed (both harnesses secured into place with the "click"). Time to program it. Everything is plugged in and no power on the controller switch. Really want this to work as I really do not like the laggy feel of the throttle as it is now.

Might sound silly but, do you have the vehicle in ACC mode to program it?

I was told as soon as all harnesses were connected, the remote would have power and would say something on the display. Even though the remote did not have power, I pushed the start button (button turned green, all lights, radio came on), there was nothing on the remote and the car DIC said something like, "Reduced Engine Power".

It is like the car is not recognizing it, or blocking it from working. Instructions were followed exactly. As soon as I plug the stock harness back in, all is well. Plug this in and nothing.

Both harnesses connected

No power on the controller with all connected

With car in the On position, this is the message on the display

looks like you will have to make the call at the bottom of the instructions

Not sure if this is part of your problem but the vehicle needs to be in ignition on position, not accy. To do this on push to start c6, you have to hold down the bottom of the switch for about 6 + seconds (like you're putting in accy but longer).
I would disconnect everything, run the vehicle some as normal, then follow the Vitesse set up EXACTLY. If still issues I would disconnect the battery for a couple minutes, then drive, then try again with install.

Yea, I had to put mine in ACCY mode and I was able to program it. Push down on the Start button for a few seconds, then follow the instructions. I agree that the instructions are unclear for our cars due to the way the ignition switch works. Mine showed accy mode in the DIC so I guess you can program it in either mode.
