For all I could see, this video could easily have been from C6 production. Didn't see a thing that told me what the C7 will be like. So, 1-13-13 still looms as the date we will actually learn anything worthwhile.

You sure won't find the double-crease of that front fender on any C6.
Thanks for posting the video so quickly and for the grabs from it. Without the stills (which GM knows we will be doing), it would be WAY more difficult to know what we are looking at. To me the most fundamental take away from this is confirmation of the all aluminum and composite frame and underpinnings--- like it says, every gram has to earn its way onto the car.
My GUESS is this image below is the front right fender with the double-crease and no nose yet installed.
Absolutely. This is the front of the car with the hood vent.
The frame looks like it's much lower mass than the old frame. It looks like there was a very significant effort to reduce the weight and lower the CoG.

I'm saying rear since it looks like a reflection in glass at the upper left. Figure hood vent would give no reflection.
Well after looking again maybe not. Will be there Sunday and can see
what it looks like without camera angles.
I believe the opening we are seeing is the vent opening in the hood. It apears that the actual vent might be a snap in plastic grille(most likely molded in black, like the black snap in plastic parts used in the nose scoop and rear fender brake vents on the GS/Z06/ZR1 and the rear sopiler and door handles on the C6).
I hate black snap in parts. They look cheap. The first thing I did with my C6 Z06 was to paint the rear spoiler and the door handles Cyber Gray(body color).

Well I am sure that is a different part vs being molded into the actual hood but I wouldn't get all upset yet about it snapping in, being cheap, or being black plastic.
I like that the body panels are molded in what looks to be dark grey or black. When you do get a small rock chip you won't have the white showing through as you now have with the C6.
Again I agree and just to link it all up a bit more, look at this Omega Tool video still from those many months ago...dark grey.
This looks like the rear to me? edit ..now that I look at it again it could be the front (I don't know what do you guy's think)
and this looks like the inside of the rear quarter panel/sill?
I was capturing those pics also and believe the 1st picture is of the right Front Fender with Camera view if standing by the Passenger side mirror.
The 2nd view I feel is of the Rear Hatch seal if viewing directly from the Rear on the Driver side, or, possibly viewing from the Rear standing on the Passenger side
Aother reason I think it's the rear. In the second picture above you see the "7682" written in chalk. If you look at the first pic it is marked "7682L" I think the L would mean "Left" so that eliminates it from being the front right fender if indeed this was a front fender without the nose clip. I don't think that could be a hood vent in the first picture because the angles are wrong and that does not explain the continued "dark area" that expands from the so called hood vents.
