Some cheap a$$ whiners on here that don't know the value of high quality products!
Quit bitching about a $60K base C7....the car is worth much more than that! This car would be priced just fine even if it started at $85K+!!
Yup...lots of whiners....Want everything for nothing. They must really kick up a fuss at the McDonalds take out when coffee price goes up by 5 cents...
Hopefully GM will price it high enough to keep the cheap @sses out. (It shouldnt take much)

Am I the only one to get the idea that this guy is actually an anti-GM schill? To so obviously intentionally alienate people has no other reasonable explanation. Reprehensible.

Gee, a six month CF member with 43 posts, many worthless ones in this thread! Wow, aren't you the credible expert on the forum.
And I'm still waiting to hear where you got your business degrees from.

Anyone who is complaining about a 59k price with this car is crazy. The car will have more power and performance than 95% of the members on here can handle (I'm included in that number). It has Ferrari like performance and exotic looks. I don't think you can get much better.
On a side note...I just read the Motor Trend article. Nothing new in it BTW, and as far as pricing, in the story it only quotes GM with the "if you can affors the current car...". The $59K price is their estimate in the little stat box at the end. No sources, no explaination where they got it from. So it is fairly meaningless.

Freakin' trolls.
It will be interesting to see how the C7 tracks against the 458. The 458 has been soundy beaten on the track by C6 Z-06 and ZR1. I doubt the C7 will match the 458 in the standing 1/4. But with its excellent torque, e-diff and 3rd gen mag suspension, it may track fairly competively with the 458.
I would think that GM would price it just above what the current 2013 models are going for in 2014 and then incrasae the price as they usually do. As I recall even though GM improves each generation it keeps the price point at an affordable level so that individuals can up grade from a C6 to a C7
59 K would be pricing it out of its current market. I doubt that GM would want to lose whatever older indivduals purchase Corvettes in an attempt to go upscale as well as get the younger individuals to buy it.
I agree. I heard they wanted to get the younger market and they wont be able to if they raise base cost 10k.
You don't even know what it is going to do yet . . . .
Of course we do! It is going to have almost 500 HP, weigh 3000 lbs, go 0 to 60 in 3 seconds flat, corner better than a Daytona Prototype, do the 1/4 mile faster than a ZR 1 with nitrous, and it will do it getting 40 mpg on the highway and cost under 50k base price!
