Please, by all means put me on your ignore list, discussing anything with people who either cannot read or refuse to comprehend what they read is very tiresome. I strongly recommend to you reading the brochure GM issued on C7, beats having pointless arguments here.

GM has said nothing about offering a Pepto Bismo Pink color for the C7 either. But if Vickie Kerbeck kept making posts every day about how she believes the C7 will be(or should be) available in Pepto Bismo Pink, does that make it factual information that Pepto Bismo Pink will be offered, today? Now a month from now, and GM says they will offer a Pepto Bismo Pink color for the C7, then I will believe it. But I won't today as there is nothing from GM that says that Pepto Bismo Pink will be offered but only Vickie wishing there was, so she wouldn't have to have her daddy paint one in their body shop just for her.
That's hilarious, sums up a lot of folks around here. .

Will the next Vickie Kerbeck please stand up?

As for MPG, they have not given us final numbers yet, but it has been made pretty clear that mileage will be VERY good for a 450-500 hp machine. Certainly a notable improvement over the C6.
Don't humor the guy. Just don't comment. Leave it alone.

Trolls don't get answers. they just want to incite.

Yeah, especially the tiny minority who think they can get GM to change the rear if they post about it continuously.....

Don't humor the guy. Do not reply. He's a troll of the first order. He needs decent to make his day.

Again, DO NOT REPLY TO HIM, ever. It's not worth the effort.

Well, BlueOx never liked the Pontiac looking C5, and never bought one, and it worked. GM dropped the C5 and came out with the C6, just to please BlueOx.

Don't underestimate the pull BlueOx has at GM. LOL

Guess you don't remember the whiners that went on about the gills and logo when the GS came out...yet you bought one....and that is the point you miss. C7 is gonna sell just like the GS sold and just like the C6 sold when the pop-up whiners failed.

Yeah Joe, and yet you even named yourself after the C5 so it sold even when there were folks who didn't like it.

Wow, maybe I will have to change my name to JoesC7.

It went on for quite a while but the fact that the body was wide but cheaper than the Z06 helped offset that objection. Plus, it wasn't a brand new generational car. It was mostly a wide-body base C6 that folks were semi-familiar with.

If you care to look, I joined the CF not long after it was formed by Troy. My user name was named after the C5 I had owned for two years before joining the Corvette Forum.

Before that, I spent most of my time on the NCRS site as I also own a couple of vintage Corvettes.

Where did you get your username, from the Ox that pulled your cart in the vineyards while you were blue in the face from picking grapes?

You crazy...
That's been my name for my LMB C6 vert with all the low-end torque...as in Babe the Blue Ox? Surely you remember Paul Bunyan?

Joe,
That was low!! But that was one funny comment!
Thanks for making me laugh!

Sorry Ox. I respect the hell out of you and mean no disrespect. It's a tough crowd here and this thread definitely has digressed. I couldn't help but laugh to the point of nearly being in tears from Joe's response.

I remember that too.. even tried a search, with no luck. He said something like "I can tell you it will be less than 472 hp" with a wink, thumbs up or some other emoticon.
