Great Job: I love the look/style - I would not mind doing the same except possibly using the 18 front/19 rear and using the same base tires that the car came with. Does TSW make the same wheel but with 18's for the front and 19's rear I could then use the same wheel 19" that you had in the front for the rear of my car? The cost for these wheels are good, love the HRE but seem a bit more and for me not sure its worth the cost.

Those wheels look awesome!

I love the look of your car. I think you're doing all the right things. Man, those wheels look good!

So I got around to pulling off the rear vents and body color matching them...easy to come off once you see where the tabs are - stay tuned - clear going on soon:

best paint I have found - automotivetouchup.com - $28 - the vendors are getting $280 for new painted vents...

and here is finished...2 wet coats base, 3 light coats clear....the thing I learned is, at least in cyber gray, the paint does not eliminate the "tears", they just don't look like runny black mascara...a nice mod:

all personal taste - I think they look like crap in flash...I hate the look of the back vents..

the hood is ok with a stinger stripe...may paint the shoulder vents but they are a bitch to get off....

Since they showed the first C7 I have wondered why they decided to use the carbon flash on all the vents. I bought Night Race Blue so I did not have the "stuck on" look. Just my opinion and not enough to keep me from buying the most advanced Corvette yet.

I think you might be the only one with pics of TSWs on a C7.
Do you by chance have any pics of a car with 18s?
I know yours are bigger, but I figured while you were shopping around you may have found some.
Thanks

Knowing the forum here, I am ready for the "I don't like it" posts coming...I happen to like it, in that my whole car is "darkened" - not murdered. This is great way to "dim" the flags if that's all you are running that is left of the chrome. The Product is Plastidip "Smoke" and lets the colors come thru. 3 coats and then it peels away from the edges like magic..enjoy….If you don't like it, it peels off in a few seconds.....but from 10 feet away it gives the flags a "sterling look"...nice on the cyber gray...UPDATE: either I'm going darker with more coats or going back to stock....just look too "dirty" this way....

Tape off, 3 coats, 20 min apart, then peel an edge and it all comes off except the badge...neat and clean

Done

2more coats- much better

smoke

Default covettemods.com exhaust plate

Very nice - mounts in 15 min, no taking off the bumper, etc - no rattle - finishes what chevy started:

Having the taillight bezels painted Cyber Gray is a huge improvement. Are you going to do the other vents(and the rear spoiler) in CG?
