Black gloss plenum from RPIdesigns.com - give the engine bay a bit nastier look - tip - use a 10mm DEEP socket to get the plenum off, a panel popper from amazon makes the harnesses free up easier too:

Those wheels on this car is a great example as to why $5k wheels are overkill for the base C7. Those wheels look just as good, if not better than the HREs posted on this forum. Good work.

exactly...no diss on the HRE's but these are fine for a DD- the HRE is 8300 for 4 , these were about 1600 for 4:
Glen, love the creativity and artistry you demonstrate in carefully crafting the little things that make your car so satisfying. I noticed that you have been able to replace the TSW wheel centers with Chevy flags. Can you tell us how you did that?

sure...the stock cap is two piece and with a small jeweler screwdriver the badge/top cap pops off and leaves you with this:
It is then simply glued to the TSW cap using epoxy putty after acetoning the TSW face........it fits perfectly:

I could say what I do not like about the MODs, but why should the owner or anyone else care about what I like. The only person that needs to like the MODs is the person that paid for them. Some people may consider it to be crazy to spend that much money on a car only to remove a bunch of stuff that came with the car. On the other hand other people may think I am crazy for buying a car and leaving it stock.
I am more practical when it comes to lowering, all the C-4s and the C-5 I owned were stock height and I still had to be careful about scraping, heck the Volt even scrapes bottom if I do not approach some driveways at an angle.
But if scraping does not bother you and you like YOUR car better that way than ignore all the nay sayers and enjoy YOUR car in whatever manner that makes you happy.
Build threads are always polarizing, I post them so others have ideas, as I have picked up most of the ideas from members here so it's payback. To me a stock car is boring, to others, it's just right....
Glen,
I also have the CGM, but in a 2lt Kalahari. You've given me a lot of great things to think about that I can do to up the appearance of my car. Congrats and thanks for taking the time to share all of your efforts.
Like, love and not a fan of some of your mods. But this isn't a thread for my opinion. Thanks for the posts, definitely appreciate seeing what other people are doing. Keep on doing what you like!
Very nice - mounts in 15 min, no taking off the bumper, etc - no rattle - finishes what chevy started:
All looks great Glen! Too bad the exhaust cover above doesn't come in carbon flash black to match the lower part of the rear... that should be your next mod... paint that thing black!
