I've never gotten any negative comments about any aspect of my car. Quite the opposite.
Congrats on IMO, the best looking LRG pic I have seen to date.
Also, are those chrome wheels, or, the silver polished to the max?
Whatever they are, they look terrific!
The C6 looks dated.... not long ago I shot side by side photos of my '07 C6 coupe and my 1988 328 GTB Ferrari and the Vette looked really dated beside the 25-year-old car.
The C7 is sweet...!
Before I took delivery I was neutral on the rear. After owning it for six months, the C6 now looks old to me. Not that an old look is bad. All the generations are good. It is that time moves on.
Wow. The OP posts about how beautiful his car is and the response he is getting to the car (and NO mention of the rear end) and some people then turn it into a rear end discussion... again
OP, the C7 is a stunner and draws a ton of attention. Sometimes I worry it gets too much attention

Took my 26-year old nephew out in my new C7...He couldn't believe how much better it was than my old C6Z06.
I have owned Corvettes for 50 years. Some used and more recently some new. C1's through C6's. In all that time I have never had so many people pay so much attention and received so many compliments as with my new C7. It is a Black/Black 2LT with chrome wheels and IPP exhaust. When I park it at a restaurant or stop to get gas it always draws a crowd. Not just young people but all ages. Their comments range from "most beautiful car I have seen", "I hear they cost less than $100,000, is that true?" to "how fast does it go?"
I don't know if it is the Black/Black that sets it off or just its sleek and mean look. Whatever it is GM has hit the mark with this one.
my two cents: that Toyota is beautiful! I think the challenge for designers is to create an original-distinctive design (like the C7) but not end up with something too controversial--or downright ugly in the opinion of at least most of the potential buyers in that market. As to the C7 rear---initially I was ambivalent at best about it, still believe it is not a strong part of the overall design (mostly because of some of the materials used) but, I have grown to accept it as OK, and believe that it is more impressive in person for some reason........

I agree on all counts. Congrats on the beautiful ride!
Geese, better say it ain't so. That's $2,500 less than I paid for my 2011 back in April of 2011. I just don't know if I can take that depreciation hit over three years. And the recent price increase was?
I'm a car guy and I can look & admire the C7 all day long, especially the front and sides. Not too crazy about the back. The back doesn't fit with the elegance and finesse of the rest. And anyone I had asked what they think about C7, they say, they love it, except the rear. The rear looks cheap!
This is the "C7 gets Attention" thread, meant to muster good feelings amongst us C7 owners. Personal comments about the rear facia in this thread are frowned upon.
I had some fool in LA today beeping at me on the freeway. I'm trying to figure out what is wrong and he pulls along side and yells out "Man! I love your car!"
The C7 rear looks nice, but the circular exhaust pipes don't mix well with angular tail lights.
Congrats to teh OP for his new C7. It's a great feeling, isn't it? Makes ya feel like a Rock Star!!
did you notice , kanye, the wheels on this car. tell me that this is not the best feature of the car. its all about the accompanyments, and attention to details. the C7 has such a great starting point, with the proper wheels, they could all look awesome. (oh, ignore the grille issue, as this has been beaten to death by every breathing human)
Guy I have known at a club for years never commented on my C6. Yesterday he sees my C7 and rushes over in lot to tell me it's best looking Corvette ever. On and on he goes. People are just moved by the look of this car. Me, too
