If you love the car, buy it. Cars are not an investment. They are meant to bring pleasure and, for me, they do. I can't stop grinning when I am driving my C7 or my 37 Chevy street rod.
I was being tongue-in-cheek. Many of us C6 owners bought at bargain basement prices, so that price on the window of the used C6 is almost what I paid for my 2011 brand new. I only wanted to counter what some feel about the depreciation hit on the prior version. If bought at MSRP, yes, ouch! But if you bought right,you're still doing well.
