The major reason for the huge depreciation shown is the change from C6 to C7. I don't believe it will be near as severe in three years as it will still be a C7 and the new ones will be too.
If you love the car, buy it. Cars are not an investment. They are meant to bring pleasure and, for me, they do. I can't stop grinning when I am driving my C7 or my 37 Chevy street rod.
