I just checked OnStar. It looks like the car has moved a couple of hundred feet and is now right at the intersection. I know there has been some question the accuracy of OnStar but I also have a '14 C7 and OnStar has always been dead on. If OnStar sez it is in my driveway it always has been. I also got mixed up with where I parked it at Mt. Rushmore last summer. I didn't really pay attention when I parked it, I was to distracted by the monuments. Anyway, did an OnStar car locate and it pin pointed the car even when it was on one of the lower levels. This is the 1st time OnStar has said the Z has moved all weekend.
Lets assume for a moment that they are scheduling museum deliveries for the middle of this week... which they are.... and folks are making airfare/hotel plans and have to come to BG with a bill of sale from the dealer. What are the odds that the museum would be setting this up if invoices were going to be held for a protracted period of time?
50/50 at this point I have seen many an NCM delivery have to be re scheduled. No invoice no MSO no car. The car will come with a blank window sticker and GM will send the selling Dealer a real one in a few weeks after they start invoicing the Dealers.

I hope you are right. Just remember without an Invoice or MSO, your Dealer cant' sell the car so don't blame him if he tells you no go tomorrow!
Hey Black&White, no way would I ever blame my dealer. He is a great buddy of mine that I have bought (and sold) cars with before. I'll make you a bet. The 2016 vette that is currently on the transport truck in Quality Inn's parking lot will spend tomorrow night in my garage. No other conditions, just black and white. Want that bet?
As if we don't have enough anxiety, I just read the severe storm warnings over the mid-west including over Kentucky! Jeeez! Get all the C7s inside! Quick!

I believe it. Forgive me if I already asked but are you getting the two-tone interior by any chance?

Finally!!! I'm glad my car is back inside the factory for the EYT fix. Didn't think I'd be saying that.

docprego, I'm getting 195 Trim, Leather, Jet Black with the light gray stitching. Torch red exterior. I think they did a nice job with the two-tone interior but I just like solid colors. Good luck with getting your vette. I think I remember that both our cars had the same TPW.

Thank you very much, my TPW was 6/22. I'm slightly delayed because of the EYT (carbon flash badge package) mixup. It's ok, I'll live. In the meanwhile please feed my curiosity with pics and videos of the new '16 features when you get your Stingray. I'm dying to see the new infotainment system in action, the hatch cinching, and anything else that's new.

Since you never have OnStar issues with our '14, I am wondering if the car cover is causing some inaccuracies. Dave @ Kerbeck stated the trucks don't run on Sunday's at the plant.
I was playing with the OnStar on my iPhone. It was initially reporting the location of my car still at the power plant and the road. However, when I refreshed the vehicle status screen, the location changed right to the parking lot. Does yours do that? If I exit the app and come back in, it remains at the T-Intersection. Refresh, back in the parking lot. Very strange.

Hi Kevin,
Yes mine almost does the same thing. When I initially press the car icon to locate it, the result is inside the plant as I showed with the red rectangle in my previous screen shot. If I exit out of the map part of the app and do something else like check vehicle status, when I return to the map screen the car's location has changed to where you are showing. But as soon as I click the car icon it relocates to the original area I showed in the red rectangle. I think it's just a glitch in the app.
I really can't wait to see if something happens tomorrow. Not to mention the deliveries of cars to people and dealerships tomorrow and throughout the week. Hopefully we're in for a barrage of images showing the new '16 options.

I have a GM exterior car cover on the '14 whenever it is in the driveway. Doesn't seem to have any effect.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
