Well, On-star apparently has a max amount of times you can check your GPS location in a 24 hour period. I exceeded it...they suspended my ability to look up via GPS for 24 hours. I guess time to do something productive
lol I have no Idea but I get an error saying they will re-instate the feature in 24 hours. I probably need to chill out with it anyways knowing this will be at least another week wait, probably a good deal more depending on the railcar system.
My dealer called a GM "Helpdesk", this is what he called it, and was informed that my car finally left the BG yard today at noon(Event Code 4200 on Tuesday). He said he was transferred around 6 times, but finally was able to speak to someone that provided him with this detail. He also activated my On Star and I can confirm that my baby in on its way home. I've been tracking it for the past few hours and it's all the way up in Hebron, IN resting at a Comfort INN, 83 miles from my dealer. And YES, I do have the TTV and EYT options. Even though my dealer told me he had the invoice yesterday, when he was trying to pull it up today, it gave him some errors. He was advised that this should be corrected before the car arrives.... If it's not one issue, it's another. I think we should all get together after we take delivery of our cars and have a few beers to forget about this fiasco
Honestly I probably checked the GPS 50 times.......
So my 5 a day should be within reason.
I noted a strange anomaly on my last check; trip A read 4 miles but lifetime read 3. On the previous check both were at 3. It made me think something was up.
Just checked again 2 hours later and we're on the road! 25 miles outside Bowling Green. Driver has stopped either at a gas station or hotel. I'll check again later tonight and see if there's any more progress.
The OnStar agent told me if one checks the location 50 times in a day then it will kick you off for 24 hours. Never exceed that so don't know for sure.
My dealer got invoice this morning. This afternoon made the purchase official. My vette is staying over night at the dealer getting window tint added. Decided to purchase 7 year, 56K mileage, zero deductible, bumper to bumper warranty. Hope I don't need it. smile. Now if the city will hurry up and redo my driveway so that I don't need the ramps to get it in my garage. I've heard that the C7 has more ground clearance than the C6 but it doesn't have more clearance then the wife's LS460 and it will not make it over my curb even at an angle. Hey it's worth the trouble.

2016 1LT, TR , manual, NPP, chrome , black interior, carbon flash spoiler. Ordered end of May, TPW 6/22, VIN # 411, invoiced and delivered to dealer today. Could have picked up today, but will wait until tomorrow so I can go straight to my detailer for Xpel and CQUARTZ. My 2014 c7 was totaled in April and I can't wait to get back on the road.

Congrats! What was your VIN#? I'm assuming your car is a Stingray and not a Z06?

I high fived my son.
Congrats Doc! Looks like I'm the lone EYT'er that hasn't had any movement. Any word on if you car has been invoiced?

Did you have EYT on a Stingray? I've contacted the dealer on the forum about the extended warranty a couple weeks ago and he said pricing wasn't out yet for 2016's and that he would contact me when pricing was released. It appears that pricing has been released for the extended warranties.

Thank you.
No invoice yet. I spoke to my dealer today and they told me EYT is why my invoice is delayed. I didn't press the issue since I have quite a while until my car arrives anyway.
Keep the faith, your car doesn't have far to travel.
Also you were right, you predicted yesterday that mine would roll today.

Looks like Shane is right about the invoice being delayed because of EYT. LMK when you get your invoice as that will unblock me. I just bought my ticket out on Friday 7/24. Shane told me I could do 7/25 delivery as long as I am willing to not do the factory tour. After doing the buyer's tour I don't know why I would do the R8C tour...
Ticket prices have been skyrocketing the last couple of days so I am just pulling the trigger for two seats.
I can't imagine that the car won't be ready for pickup next Saturday. Not with everyone getting their EYT's. I would still push on Shane to take delivery of the car and have it prepped and then all he needs is MacMulkin to get the invoice. It can't be that difficult to figure out adding another $25 to the EYT option for the "labor" of removing a chrome bar.

Outstanding!
I've been telling my wife about all you guys tracking your progress with Onstar (BTW she cracked up at the EYT Pretty Young Thing). We just got the VIN for ours yesterday and she asked if I was going to activate it. I said hell no! This has been stressful just watching others. At this point I'm just waiting for the call from the dealer.

Kevincol, I did not have EYT. My VIN is 102 with a TPW of 6/22/2016. My car was transported via truck and arrived in town this past Saturday but the driver stayed in a local motel for two nights before dropping off the car at my dealer Monday morning. I sent a reply to your PM on extended warranty pricing.

It's kind of a rule to only buy a car you can actually store at your home

I just got an update from Chevrolet customer assistance in reference to my 2016 Corvette. They're still saying that my car is available for transport and waiting for a truck. That's pretty funny because it was delivered to my dealer last Friday and I picked it up this Tuesday. And you guys think they're only a day behind?
