Yes mine almost does the same thing. When I initially press the car icon to locate it, the result is inside the plant as I showed with the red rectangle in my previous screen shot. If I exit out of the map part of the app and do something else like check vehicle status, when I return to the map screen the car's location has changed to where you are showing. But as soon as I click the car icon it relocates to the original area I showed in the red rectangle. I think it's just a glitch in the app.
I really can't wait to see if something happens tomorrow. Not to mention the deliveries of cars to people and dealerships tomorrow and throughout the week. Hopefully we're in for a barrage of images showing the new '16 options.
I think we are both getting pretty damn excited! As long as I can pick mine up on 7/27 @ NCM, I am totally cool with anything! Seeing everyone's pictures is really making me anxious to get it on the road -- almost more so than when I saw it come off the assembly line. At least then I knew there was no chance I was going to drive it anytime soon.
I sure find it strange how OnStar is behaving for us. No one else is reporting those problems. It has to be the car cover is causing the GPS to have a weak reading or something. It's like my DJI Phantom 3 drone. If it is in a wide open space, it will land on the dime where it took off. If I am in a constrained space with trees around me it will land about 10-12' from where it took off.
I have a GM exterior car cover on the '14 whenever it is in the driveway. Doesn't seem to have any effect.
Amazing... that's good news. Doesn't explain how are cars are moving 1/8th of a mile... The miles aren't going up on them, so no one is driving them. Maybe those severe storms are lifting them up and placing them back and forth in the exact same spots?
I think the only real unknown to the EYT crew is do the cars have the chrome bar deleted or are they still in line to have them deleted?
I think I will know the second someone says that there car has landed at NCM because it would only make sense that they would put all cars ready to be delivered to NCM on the same truck. If someone lands at NCM and mine is still in the lot, seems like a good indication that the chrome bar has not been deleted.
Hmm, my vin is 0254 and was built on 6/25 and is also a Z06. Somethin' doesn't add up.
I was thinking the same thing. The Z in front of my car on 6/29 was VIN# 336. it's impossible for that VIN# on either a Stingray or a Z could be produced tomorrow.

OnStar first showed mine in the big parking lot. Then it went to the big white building on the right and stayed there all weekend until this afternoon when it moved to the power station at the intersection of Harrison Rd. I'm thinking since I have NCM delivery, they loaded it on a truck and parked it at the big white building and today moved the truck to the power station until NCM opens in the morning. My fingers are crossed that is what happened.
That's what MacMulkin told me would happen. Shane also told me that since I wanted to keep my blank window sticker.
I don't think they travel with the car. I am taking NCM delivery but the invoice is going to the dealer. He called GM on Friday trying to get it so we could do the paperwork. NCM told me they do not get the invoice. It goes to the dealer. My guess is it is electronically transmitted to the dealer.

I guess I wasn't clear on what part I responded to on his question. I was responding to this part:
<<Assume GM will send the Window Stickers to catch up with the car>>
You are right, it will go to the dealer and in my case with R8C, MacMulkin will mail it to my house in Seattle as I will never make it out to the east coast. But Shane will deliver it to me with the blank windows sticker. Sorry for not being clear about my response. To me it will eventually catch up to the car -- when I am at my house...
Still no invoices. Granted, I don't have any cars built for museum delivery at this point so I can't say the status of those cars. I know that when the Z06s were built, the museum started scheduling deliveries and the dealers had no invoices. We cut it close on a few of them.
As far as the Long Beach Red question, we'll know more this Thursday.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
